I have a 1W blue laser diode driver from AiXiz, think you might've seen it before. Little over 10mm wide by 22.5mm long. I was wondering if the M140 that Mr. DTR sells would be able to work with it, or if the laser would burn it out.

The other thing I ask is, if I could solder these two and get them to work, was what kind of host and heatsink that you make would fit these two. It's a spring driver, and a linear one, so it's not like one of the nice button drivers I've seen on here...

I have not used those drivers...

I do recommend going with a known quality driver like the FlexDrive or one of the X-Boost/X-Drive from lazeerer.

I have all of those on hand for my 'Hot' option kits. (driver included and installed)

I need a powerful infrared laser at least 1 watt, better 2or 3. My last 3w lasted 2 min and died. Do you have any suggestions?

Hi!

I need a green line laser of about 50 mW, but I can't seem to find any. I have found a lot of red 5mW line lasers, and a 30mW green line laser.

Do you find it?

I don't sell the modules, but they are linked in the thread...

If you want it to have a line (like for golf), then when you PM me, remind me, and I can custom fit an AixiZ nut threaded into the front of the heatsink that holds a line grating in it... (extra $18)

Could you waterproof any of the Maglite mods? Flashlight or laser? Would it matter?

Yes I'm sure it will be easy to just make a heatsink for it...

But since I have not used that particular one, I would need the host 'in hand'. Or a drawing with measurements. (of the heatsink needed)

About the Mag/waterproff. The flashlight mod is waterproof to the same degree as the stock Maglite. I would say that the switch boot is where there could be a leak if your wanting to submerge the light.

So I'm thinking that it would not be submersible.

For a laser mod, the front would not have any o-ring seals where the AixiZ lens is. So that would be less water resistant vs the flashlight...
 
Looking for a kit for a four d cell mag light I have a bunch of diodes and want to make at least a 800 mw laser i have a few 523 nm a two 405 nm diodes what would it cost to have you make the seating assembly and the heat sink

523nm? I guess I'm not up on that one...

Is it a diode or a module? (been back to full time work these days and have not been keeping up with all the new stuff)

You mean the PL520 diodes?

Most likely, you will be just fine with a 2 cell Mag build unless you just want it to be the longer 4 cell size.

I'm interested in buying a complete kit. I'm afraid to pay a high value on the product and not knowing ride along with the diode. You could sell me a pen with about 5W of power with cooler vent or something? I await contact for doing business.

It's not possible to have a "pen" with 5W. Do you mean 5mw?
