Re: INTEREST GAUGE for PHAZOR Diodes -- 200mW CW!!
so when you say that we would need a driver small enough, yet power ful enough to run them fine, how much, would that cost, because i have no idea how to make one (not even really know how they work). if there are ones to buy, and they are fairly cheap, ill get one.
if you know a place that would have the right driver, can you give me a link?

The 7135 is perfect except the laser module must be electrically isolated from the rest of the flashlight body if the case is being used for the ground side. The reason is the ground wire coming from the 7135 is not the same as battery ground. I am going to update this in my review of the 7135 as well.
Re: INTEREST GAUGE for PHAZOR Diodes -- 200mW CW!!
Ok... Good news... So, these will be available by the 1st of February. Only 50 available now. Orders will be shipped to me via 3-day, as usual, but delivery to you will be through regular ground shipping. This will be $2-3 on a purchase of 1-10. Shipping is charged once per order.
The price on these will be an incredible $32. This should cover the packaging, the shipping, the wire transfer... etc.
Now... if you will be buying, please post on here letting me know.

Daedal, I'm still waiting for those graphs I asked for a while ago. I hate to push the issue, but I've yet to see anything more than very weak evidence that these are any better than Greg's diodes. The current/power versus voltage graph will go a long way to showing just how much better, or not, these diodes are

I am still in for 2. I am also new to lasers and need to know appropriate drivers (DIY is OK)
and hosts. I would like to start collecting stuff so that when the laser diode arrives I can
start lasing (sp). Where, how and who to pay?
