Have you thought about silver dipping it? Perhaps plating it with a gold brush?

I'm considering silver plating - but a solid silver sink would be even better ^_^

Gold plating would be epic!

I agree, and if it were on a red polished host, with a polished gold plated heatsink? It'd be all Iron Man style, and it'd look VERY classy. I plan on picking up a gold brush from that company once I have some spare coinage, and coating heatsinks for myself. I've got a red host here with a good cm of protruding heatsink. Gold plating that would look sick.

Well, except the host here is stainless steel, so I am going for a chrome look.

Wolfman, Just an idea:

You might be able to cut a few mm's off the front of your heatsink and then thermal glue some round silver onto it ;)

^Its like taking a stack of 1$ bills and putting a 100$ bill on top and saying you have 10,000$ sitting on the table. Looks good but its not 10,000$. KNOWING the heatsink is solid silver is what counts :)

Silver isn't that expensive if you don't buy it from a supply house. Just dropping this idea here. :yh:
