I was wondering how many miliwatts do you need for the beam to be as visible as a 5-30 mW greenie?

650nm and 635nmWhat wavelength are you comparing it to?
650nm and 635nm
To answer the question in the title appx 0.0000002MW
^ Tha Greenlander; don´t judge on pictures you see around without perfectly knowing the camera settings and camera itself. The CCD-Sensors have a different sensibility for different colors / wavelengths.
Did you ever personally own / see a higher powered 650 / 635 nm laser in reality to compare with or are you again advertising your wrong guesses as a fact?
Then you haven't compared them side by side. My 300mW 635 is noticeably brighter than my 1W 650. Beam and spot.
As for comparing to ~5-30mW of 532? No clue. My 532 outputs 700mW. I own no other 532
Edit: Also, while it might have been rude, he's still spreading correct information...
