Just ordered 3 diodes

Does anyone have a driver circuit that will regulate the output from 2 AA batteries?
Might just have to go with the resistor/cap combo.
I will likely also build one of Daedal's drivers and put it in another housing as well, would like to have a nice stable output to try out some holography.

Thanks for the link, one problem though - Supply voltage: 14 to 16V AC @ 1A
I have the old AAs that only put out 1.5 volts :-/

will keep that one in memory for future projects though.
