k, first, WTF. I posted the prev one before i went out to my sis's birthday tea, approx 18:05 AUS CST. It's now 21:50, early in teh mornin for u yanks and therer were 8, EIGHT posts while I was out. WtF. :-/
I was expecting to leave it over my night, ur morning / early afternoon, and come back to a senkat post saying theyve arrived cos he checked it after they did.
gahd, working 16 hours ahead of you guys is annoying. hey, in my timezone, the LDs arrived nearly 12 hrs ago. im in teh futuuure.... oo spooky :D

Also senkat, how long do you expect it will take for you to package and post them all?
 
Depending on how gutted I am regarding my job interview....LOL !! No, I fully intend to get quite a lot of them sent out today, and the rest tomorrow unless they do not arrive at the specified time :(

Excellent ! Now find some laminate plastic board to print those on in full colour (spelled "properly" just for Merl ! hehehehehe) and then market those as companions for these diodes ! [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

hm, was going for foil labels, i know someone who has a printer. But, I will look into doing them bulk.
 
Foil labels are nice ! Do NOT let me distract you from popping out TONS of labels, as there are many folks on here that would love to be able to label thier lasers ! I forget exactly who it was, but someone was printing them out and selling them at a rather steep price (no offense, unknown label maker person !) <----sounds like a bud light real American Heros song in the making ! LOL so if you can get the prices down, and keep them low enough, that would be superb ! I know that Aixiz sells sheets of labels - 30 or so for $1.00 each....now, that may be MY special pricing (I doubt it !) but they have the little boxes that indicate what wavelength, power, etc....very generic - but workable. They are the same labels that they place on their operational modules, not the blanks...so if you see them on ebay, or their site - it is THAT label !

I decided if I ever need these stickers, I'll print them, glue them on tin foil, then glue it on my laser LOL. With shipping, those aren't cheap stickers ;D

Back in the EARLY GB's for diodes, when the quantities were smaller, or maybe it was the modules themselves I was working on....I dunno :( Anyways, I was sending out half sheets or whole sheets of the labels to folks until I almost ran out of them myself :-) And as an FYI - the Aixiz labels, if you slice off the wavelength section, and the power level section - thereby making it TOTALLY worthless, but you still have the warning part, and the picture of the beam - that part fits on the head section of the Dorcy Jr PERFECTLY ! :-) Take a peek at my original thread on teh DJ for a pic of what I am talking about, I am afraid I did not describe it too well

LOL I thought they were the same as andy_con's website where he sells them for like $2 each, I THINK. I know what you are talking about though, with the ridiculous price.
 
Rob - I think I had to email them to get those labels, as I do not recall them being available on their site :-?

Yes, I said it safe in the knowledge that I have 2 already to play with from an earlier buy ;D But, like you, I will be awaiting the postman every day until the next ones arrive :P
