I agree in principle, but would say stick to the core manufacturers of cells themselves like Panasonic, Sanyo, Samsung, Sony, and don't worry about rebranders like efest, keeppower, etc.I agree with Livinloud, a larger selection of high quality batteries would be nice.
Besides the previously mentioned panasonics, maybe some brands such as King Kong, AW, Sanyo, KeepPower, Efest etc.; basically anything that isn't an "_____fire" brand.

Seems like a 26650 ought to do a whole lot better than 4,000 mAh on account of having over 2x the volume of an 18650.
