GB#1st of PL-E Pro Lasers and PL-E 2.0/3.0 Clearance - May 2013

Re: GB#1st of PL-E Pro Lasers and PL-E 2.0/3.0 Clearance - May 2013

Ahhhh nice that a few recieved there PL-e Pro's..

Now were are the pictures :D

Ohhh Plus a question now that i can still perhaps add to my order..

Does the 3× beam expander fit this new PL-E pro ? or any other expander from JL

I saw a good stock clearence on there website, so i might grab one with my order that is still in process.

Hello Smeerworst, We will try to ship your order out this week and i will keep you posted via PM.
And the 3X BE doesnot fit well enough due to the tolerance on the adapter though it also works- we are working on new 10x beam expander now and will sure make the adapter a lot better fit.

Thanks a lot for your patience.:)

I will add pics when I get home I could do it now but I don't know how to down size to add them to my pics

Also if beam expanders are available for my pl-e pro then I want to buy one also

no rush anyway. To downsize it, better use a software like PS or acdsee, heh...
I will keep everyone updated when the new beam expander is available soon. Thanks!

Ahh, ok nice nice :)

What else comes with it, just the laser ?

Does it use 2× 26650 and able to do 2× 18650 ?

Oh yes it does come with a reducing tube and no it only uses one battery you cannot put the 2 tubes together, different threads

At Gray..

How can one order the other two tubes ?

Re: GB#1st of PL-E Pro Lasers and PL-E 2.0/3.0 Clearance - May 2013

^^^ I was about to PM Gray with those Qs- +

I have five Pl-Es in stock (not pro)& all will work with the extension tube (~$23)
that allows a much longer time til recharge is needed- but the output is not all that much higher--IMO-

4 are 532 and one is a 1.2W 445(uses two 16340s)

one note about batts- when your box must pass borders asking for batteries in the same box is not a wise move.

In some cases(like if you live on Aus or Canada) i suggest that the laser itself is sent in two boxes with no complete laser in either one. you however can send batts in one of the two boxes as no one will be able to make it lase w/o the missing parts- Those needing JL batteries here in the CONUS can order them from me.

Gray has sent a large supply for me to send out.I must use Fed Ex until the ban is lifted- so ordering one will cost you ~$7.17 ordering a pound of them is the same- $ 7.17-

I have all four sizes ready to ship-

and soon will offer nitecore i2 smart (& safe) chargers- hopefully for $15 or less-- see the specs at any nitecore ebay listing-- the i 4 is more but will charge 4 at a time..I got lucky with my ebay sniper and won a i2 for $12.67 shipped free-
( my sniper charged me 13 cents)

While not extremely dangerous --- the cheap chargers are ,,, well ,,, cheap- so only use them with full knowledge of ALL the inherent dangers. < google that)

The NiteCore may be the last charger you wll ever need- all sizes and all kinds of batts can be charged.
The i2 has seperate LEDS for each battery- the cheap ones do not.

PM me for a link to the very best auction snipe service--totally free to try.
We both get three free snipes too...

The spare PL-E Pro barrel can also be used as the extension for 2 x 18650/26650s though the threads are not perfect fit.

The trick is to add around 3 or 4 small magnets to make both batts connect electronically. I should have sent SixTee9 some small magnets. ;)

It will come with a spare barrel, the case reducer for 18650/16340 to 26650, a piece of diffraction grating, a mousetail switch probably.

Thanks for your patience! !

I use the spacer magnets too- N/P- If I understand correctly- the flat topped batts being shorter need the spacer(s) while protected cells (button topped) being a tad longer may not- if this had been the other way around it would not be so good the tube would be too short- so its easier to make the flat tops longer- One good source of some magnets that will never slip are those from the lens cover for our fav PJ people Kaseo-
two inside the covers- bit of work harvesting them- but they stay right where you want them.... dead center between the two batteries or at the tail cap(or maybe both)
BUT afaik you dont want the mags to touch the batt tube.

Of course you can just use two 16340s with the free sleeve and not make yr laser any longer- quite a handful with extra tube AND the 10X BE out front- please dont call it a 'pointer'== I keep mine away from people- lest they call 911 on me..
