If you can, try to give also the name (and working principle :p), otherwise is enough to say me where it's used and what's its work ;)

The hole on the side of the tube looks like an optical sensor of sorts. The plastic eliminates high temp environment.
Or maybe a geiger tube. The little dot on the side might be an alpha window.

Just a thought --- A Scintillator tube. A phosphor disc coupled to an opto amp?

Is "Match" the word you're trying to pull out my nose?:D
I remember buildng a model rocket or two as kid waaaay back around 1986-7, we had something
similar to fire them off, a bent wire dipped in some brown stuff we would shove it up the
rockets "arse" and press a button. My rocket never made it made it back safely, either
the chute failed to deploy or it got a little melted by the engine....:(

Sorry I'm fresh out of pictures of my own...
Actually, not exactly rule conform, but.... who can tell me what
game this screenshot is from?
Or what is that other thing?

CORRECT !!! Electric Match. In pyro class, someone said squib and was corrected. Squibs are detenators. This is a small circuit board with a hair fine wire surrounded by unstable stuff. It is dipped into red colored nitrocellouse. The blue sleeve protects the red part and directs the flame into the quick match fuse.
