Nope. It's originally made from clay, but you can get steel ones as well
because clay cracks easily. Also, this technology is about 100 years old.

But you're getting pretty warm there.

If you've ever had a light like this, you'd recognize the part immediately, but looks like
I am alone here in this kind of geekery. Let me know if you want more hints.

Air vent for the aforementioned gas lamp ? It almost looks too well finished for the burner orifice itself .

It's from a Petromax pressure petroleum lamp, but I guess coleman and tilleys have a similar
part. Very bright those lamps are.
