I sometimes wonder whether we are being exploited simply because there's a great duck pond between us and that driving over and slugging them is not an option. Given the atrocious acts of DX [I know, I've been through a bit of it myself] as well as the [suspected intentional] acts of merchandising negligence from other wholesale sites, I can only attest to the solution of buying elsewhere, say Europe, Canada, or domestic US EVEN IF prices may be considerably more expensive.

I'm personally 23 hitting 24. My dad says I sound like a professor in discussion groups, my brother says I'm still 16 at heart because I can't get past the puppy love stage for girls, and my best friend says I drive like an 80 year old who has to use his cane to press the pedal. The public interpretation of me is open for debate.

Ordered these lasers couple weeks ago.
Top one is 40mW.
Next down I bought 2 of and neither puts out more than 2mW with an initial burst of power maybe 10mW.
Next down the "200mW adjustable" puts out 45mW
and I have yet to receive the other 2.
Just goes to show it is better to buy 1 good laser from a reputable dealer than 6 crappy ones from a shit dealer in hopes of getting 1 good out of 6.

+1 Thanks for sharing your experience. At least it's now clear that their lasers suck hard. And I absolutely agree with your last statement. My rayfoss laser has been serving me for 1.5 years now. No problems or mod hops. Same applies to o-like and many other reputable companies.

The only problem I've had with DX is the one time I ordered a 30mW 532nm pen-style laser and they sent me the kaleidoscope one instead (witch promptly broke). I didn't bother to return it. I don't shop at DX anymore though. The 532nm pen style lasers constantly break on me.

Recieved my 5mW green module the other day straight out the box doesnt work contacted RMA... we'll see but my hopes arent up.

Ordered clamp on Feb. 8th.
Received it tonight with the little bendy tripod.
Just under six weeks. Wasn't even worried. :undecided:
I'm ordering more for myself and friends.
$11 for both shipping incl.

EDIT: It was actually less than $5 for both shipping included.

Decent quality.

I got one of those tripods free with a magazine once. It was crap. The legs bent out of shape very quickly.
