Great to have you back!

Do you think I could put a down payment of sorts on one of these hosts to have it reserved for a while until I am ready to make a 12X build out of it? And also, what would be the cost of this host a la 12X y 405-G-1? :thanks:

Well, now appears to be a bad time to be getting back into Airsoft... a couple more deals like this and I guess I'll just have to forget about AS again :p

But yea, PM replied and thanks a billion. This made my day :wave:

With such an incredible build as this, asking about the inclusion/omission of a box and some foam padding, well... it's just... a disgrace :p

beleive me they realy are not that nice but sure you can have the box if you want it I just throw them away.
The shipping will be a little bit more as it's a bigger box than I normaly would send just a tank and tripod in unless you are buying more items and need the extra space ;)

With two CR123A batteries yes, but i dont know if they can fit inside the host ;)

Yes they will fit. I just tried it:)
In general two cr123 or rcr123 commonly referred to as 16430 cells are almost identical to a 18650 cell. Two of them together are about 3mm longer then a 18650, and a slightly smaller diameter.

Also if your going with the rkcstr drive, lose the cr123 cells. Go with rcr123 ''16430'' cells.
They will give you more voltage, and cost way less then a standard cr123 since you can recharge them.

By the way, for anyone who hasn't figured this out themselves anyway, the 'designations' of Li-ion batteries are actually the physical dimensions of the cells themselves. The first two digits are the diameter in mm, second two are length. 18650's for example are 18mm in diameter and 65mm in length. 16340's(which is what I think you mean instead of 16430's) would be 16mm x 34mm. So two 16340's would be 68mm in length end to end. That's indeed 3mm longer than a 18650 and 2mm smaller in diameter.

Also keep in mind that these are dimensions for unprotected cells. Cells with protection circuits will have an actual size of 1mm more in diameter, and 2-3mm added to the length of a non-protected cell.

Just things to keep in mind for anyone trying to figure out which particular Li-Ion's they can fit in a particular host.

Exactly right. The last "0" means the battery is a cylinder shape. That's why that's there.
