My G2 lenses arrived today, Thank You SANWU. :)

Re: FS: Sanwu Laser store - R/G/B handhelds x3 BE & Stainless steel "The Spiker" rele

Got my batteries yesterday (purple efest IMRs from mountain electronics)! Charged em up, the dot profile is definitely different (probably due to the replaced diode), but it seems to be working fine now.

The unprotected, flat top IMRs fit much better into the host. There's no need for me to use any force while screwing them in.

Was going to experiment with it last night, but it started to rain, so I had to run back inside.

I'll post a review soon!

Also, I don't remember, Podo, what's the pattern necessary to swap to half power and strobe modes?

I sent you a message about buying some more expanders, Thanks.

------edit------

Message received and payment sent. :paypal:

I really enjoy your 3X expanders, they work great. :gj:

Thank you. :)

p.s. Have you thought about making bigger expanders, maybe 6X ?

I know I would be interested.

Are there any photos of a laser beam, with and without expander please?

Here's one I took recently, the expander expands your beam width at your laser and lets you focus it to a point at a variable distance,

You get a tighter spot at a longer distance than you could without it, the expander extends burning range and gives the beam the ability to better pinpoint a spot or you can un focus it and make a floodlight, or just carry a wider beam to infinity.

I don't have a set of comparison pics at the ready but I can tell you it works well.

Hey Podo, are your Spiker series lasers waterproof?

Re: FS: Sanwu Laser store - R/G/B handhelds x3 BE & Stainless steel "The Spiker" rele

Hey Podo, are your Spiker series lasers waterproof?

Basically, Spiker/Spiker saber: IP2~3

Other copper made lasers: IP5~6, they're submersible in some circumstances but we strongly advise users to not put it underwater.

Thank you Podo. I don't know much about waterproofing ratings... what exactly does IP2-3 mean?

Also, how much would a bare host for the full Spiker cost - that is, with a battery contact board and heatsink but no driver or diode?

Lots of sellers don't tell us that, seems like a no brainer to include battery polarity instructions.
