Re: FS: Sanwu Laser store - R/G/B handhelds x3 BE & Stainless steel "The Spiker" rele

Is it just me, or did the Challenger II 405nm decrease from 900mW to 800mW? If so, would you be able to set the current a bit higher when I purchase mine? (I'm going to try for a Guinness World Record with it.)

It's possible to push the 405nm diodes to 900mw but by doing that will shorten the diode's life expectancy and increase the chance of "sudden death" so we lowered the output for all the 405nm units.

If you really want a 900mw+ 405nm, you could pm me for it.

Thanks Podo, I will PM you then. What about my question on page 28 (about the empty Spiker host)?

We don't have spare host parts for sales at the moment, sorry.

My 900mw output 405nm laser diode died :( better run them lower.

Are there some photos showing two beams, one from a <1.6W and one from a 5W blue laser?
I want to see myself what is the difference in the beams,to justify the possible purchase of a stronger one.:undecided:

They won't look too different on pictures but according to this tool:

Relative Laser Beam Brightness Calculator: (445nm 1600mw) vs. (445nm 5000mw)

The 5W 445nm will have 3 times the brightness of a 1.6w 445nm

And a 5W would burns way better than a 1.6w 445nm laser, you can hear the "pop" sounds and the hard cardboard is ignited immediately.

Hope this helps ;)

Thank you very much Podo.

What is the range of a 5W blue laser with the beam expander on it please?

Podo, do you have a video showing how you switch between modes on your multimode lasers?

You said do a half tap to change modes, but that doesn't seem to work for me.

For 7W 445nm laser build requests, we have only a few NUBM41 diodes left and a lot of NUBM44 diodes. (M41 is stronger than M44) They're open-canned diodes so we're unable to guarantee a long lasting lifespan of these 7W diodes. No warranty for a 7W laser build, buyers must aware that before purhase the 7W version.

Do you have any plans for a bigger expander?
I would buy some and know others would as well.

Yep, definitely interested! I already have two X3 BE and probably gonna order more of them! ;)

Oh I enjoy the 3X BE very much, I have 4 of them and will get more, they work great. :gj:
And if podo brings us a 6X  I will have to have some of those too.
I understand that a 6X BE with the same wide range of adjustment would likely be twice the size and cost twice as much, but I will put my name on the list to buy 1 and after testing it I'm sure I will buy more. Just saying... :D :D

These are nice.
