Your welcome;

You know, I'm really interested in this. I'm going to give a it a week or two and if nobody else has any interest, I'm will buy this. I've got a couple of mech mods already but I really like the look of this. And the price is really good. :)

Re: FS: Aspire Mech-mod host setup

Thanks Bob,

I'm really happy with how these turned out. I've got 2 more setup's the same :)

The 2 Custom Adapter's will require alittle building or "fun time" :) to finish: Insert 20-22mm module with thermal tape/greese, solder module to pre-installed wire...etc,
The Cylindrical len's Adapter which fits perfectly into the Main adapter is the icing on the cake  when finished it will allow a fully corrected, finished hand-held laser. (nubm44/nub05/6, nug01 etc)

and of course you probably know DTR's 22mm Heatsink is brilliant, good to go.

Cheers for the interest!

I Can help you with that Alaskan
Assembled Host:

And of course, being a Mech-mod setup, they can screw onto other battery bodies of different sizes, shapes and colours :)

Re: FS: Aspire Mech-mod host setup

Very nice, jnrpop. Good luck with your sale. I almost have the one I bought from you paid off.

Re: FS: Aspire Mech-mod host setup

I'm not sure of the point of the extenders, it's nearly a 30cm laser now yes,

Can you post a pic with the DTR 510 adapter threaded straight onto the aspire that would be much more appropriate and appealing in my opinion.

I understand if you just wanted something different since we have all seen an aspire with a 510 adapter but your extension tubes are wider than the aspire so doesn't appeal to me at all, Sorry to add my opinion!

DTR used to have nicer modules also with a top cap for focus like in this photo, not sure if he still has them.

Don't be sorry Billy, i appreciate your opinion if you are interested in purchasing ;)

-Yep your right, we've all seen the Aspire/dtr510 adapter, setup,
This is a first generation 22mm adapter so hasn't got the focusing ring like in your photo.

For the custom adapters:
First one holds a 20-22mm module (high power diode and driver), and so is only alittle longer than jordan's 22mm510 adapter which hold's a 12mm module,
The second adapter was built to hold a Cylindrical len's setup, allowing a optically improved handheld laser, but yes it's a lengthy addition to have, so that's why you can remove and re-insert it into the first adapter :)

Really i'm selling it all as a "setup" or seperate piece's, not a complete host, but the purchaser can use it how they like, with dtr's22mm adapter, or with my custom adapters, and also you can buy a 25mm Mech mod so it's the same size as my adapters...etc

Cheers!

Re: FS: Aspire Mech-mod host setup

I understand now cool, is there a platform in the custom tube for cylindricals or is the buyer just UV gluing the lenses in.

No worries, and great question.

The buyer will have to install the len's/platform assembley.

The inside diameter is 22mm, and 55mm long, room for a "ruler" style setup like Milo's or a custom platform setup. UV glue would be recommended. I have my cylindrical len's coming so havn't got that far with my Adapter setup yet.

Cheers,
