A little confused. One diode inside?or several diode ?I hope it's not LED.Do you think CNI laser
GLP-405 60mW is one diode inside?

What do you think this price?

Are you sure you're asking in the right thread?

What would be a LED? You can't make a laser with a LED. And lasers have one laser diode inside, yes. Including the GLP-405 60mW.

The prices for proffesional lasers are always high. That laser also has some complex optics, that make the spot rounder and the beam thinner. But they are too expensive for our needs.

You can get a much more powerful laser for less money. For that amount of money (60mW) i would rather make myself several 200mW 405nm lasers.

Re: FS: >110mW Blu-Rays - available

I was wondering if you are still selling these lasers. Very interested. :)

Re: FS: >110mW Blu-Rays - available

I too am very interested in buying one of you blu boxes Igor. please pm me or email me

Re: FS: >110mW Blu-Rays - available

You've definitely got the NOOB vote locked down, IgorT ;)

Peace,
dave

Re: FS: >110mW Blu-Rays - available

Just because people are registering to inquire about the lasers, doesn't make them noobs, Dave.. ;)
Just lurkers..  :P

Otherwise.. Not many people actually post here first. They just write an email. Last two weeks were especially crazy. I ran out of drivers, and had to make 12 lasers simultaneously. I wanted to keep two for myself. Now i'll be lucky if i get to keep one....

Re: FS: >110mW Blu-Rays - available

I'm very interested in one of these. Whats the wait time on one?

Re: FS: >110mW Blu-Rays - available

It depends on when you order.. Usually a week, unless i run out of some parts. It can also be faster, if i'm almost done and there's a spot left..

I'm preparing a new batch, and there are three spots still available. I'll answer your PM in a minute...

It's always so hard to let these babies go.... Here's some pics i took last week..

I love your "family" pictures

Re: FS: >110mW Blu-Rays - available

Hehe, thanks.. Just a little something to remember them by.. :)

The tripods make positioning for pictures real easy and fun! I can only recommend them, even if they are occasionally bad.. ::)

Another good thing to have are these:
- Small air blower pump: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.13897
- Large air blower pump: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.13896

Helps get dust particles off the lens without touching it. Touching always just makes it worse..

Re: FS: >110mW Blu-Rays - available

To everyone from batches 4 & 5...

Tracking shows batch four and part of five are in the customs since Tuesday or Wednesday, so they will be there any day now. The rest of #5 is not far behind.

So make sure you read the instructions i sent in the emails. Check to make sure you use the correct battery polarity. The laser is protected, but it would not be nice to the battery, if you reversed it. It's the usual polarity - the battery goes in with the positive side (+) first, and with the negative side (-), to the tailcap spring.

The custom laser warning labels are inside the battery compartment, pressed against the wall.
Make sure you take them out first, or your battery could get stuck and you could squish the label.

Use the lens cap at all times, to avoid collecting garbage on the lens, and don't take the lens out. Both the lens and the diode are as clean as possible, often much cleaner, than i get them, so don't "clean" them for no reason please.. The only thing that should ever be used for regular cleaning is the rubber air blower. If it doesn't go off with the air blower, it should probably be left on, as attempts to remove it with wiping will only put more dust/skin oils/whatnot on it, and it won't come off again.

If you think cleaning really is required, ask first please. Mouth or canned air are NOT suitable substitutes for the rubber air blower thingy. ::)

The diode window will not get dirty if you don't remove the lens. If you do for some reason, make sure you hold the laser in a way that doesn't allow dust to fall in, and check the spring before reinserting it. If you use the uncollimated laser to shine on the spring, you will see the tiniest dust particles.

If someone didn't get instructions, please drop me an email...

Other than that, enjoy! :)

Re: FS: >110mW Blu-Rays - available

I had noticed mine arrived in NY on Wednesday. I can't wait to get it. I've been having fun with my other laser I told you about. I want something other than my green to burn stuff with though.

Re: FS: >110mW Blu-Rays - available

Can't wait to see some pics next to your blue laser! :)

Re: FS: >110mW Blu-Rays - available

Batches are just blu rays. But the "free" reds are finished too. Sent you an email..

Re: FS: >110mW Blu-Rays - available

Received my 405nm from IgorT, great laser, compact and powerful with excellent build!
