FAIL THREAD!!!!

Its only a video, and not a troll. When you click the link it brings you to another warning page, and you have to click a link there to see the video. So obviously there is more than fair warning. If you dont like that stuff dont click. Its that simple. I like real life, no matter how dark, or how sunny it is. Lessons are learned this way. If nothing else the video shows that acting stupid, and not knowing your environment can cause fatal results. The car crash was another lesson. Dont text and drive. Sometime young people, older ones too, dont think of these things, or dont believe this stuff happens. The fatal fail videos/pictures shows it does happen, and give an uncensored view of the repercussion of being thoughtless. I dont post things just for shock value. I could do that all day. I also dont think they are funny. But is real life, and there are lessons to be learned.

I agree, but this is a public forum with kids being able to see this stuff., who may not heed the warning because they are curious.

Well at least he put a warning.

lol everyone thinks kids minds are glass prone to shatter at any shock. reinforces the message: "dangerous things, contrary to popular belief, are actually dangerous". too many people these days trying to find thrills in dangerous stuff, its like they think they're immune to what could happen.

i only hope he wasnt conscious though. imagine being aware of that.

Moving on...

After spending far, far too much time reading stuff on Cracked.com I came across something that horrified me...and made me laugh incredibly hard. Some of these are stupidly funny and some are just plain crap. The one about Bee Movie, the clip of the ending, has horrible, horrible acting and animation. The second cars one, I suggest finding the ending clip and watching it...words can not describe this fail.

I found this while I was trying to find out what type of socket "GU24" is. I'd like to see someone try to use a GU24 based bulb in a screw-in socket without an adapter of some sort...

What are the benefits?

The outstanding benefit of the GU24 innovation is that any fixture with a GU24 socket can now take any bulb with a GU24 Connection. That means a fixture is not limited to the light source it was manufactured with; the wattage, and the color and the style of bulb can be changed for any bulb with a similar connection. (If more light is needed, use a higher wattage bulb. If less, use a lesser wattage bulb.)

This is something from the owners manual for my truck.

Working with the engine on AKA running.

Manual transmission

Step 1. Set the parking brake, depress the clutch and place the gearshift in 1 (first).

Step 2. Block the wheels to prevent the vehicle from moving unexpectedly.

Am I supposed to sit there depressing the clutch while another person works on the vehicle with it running? I'm sure as hell not going to release the clutch. I think common sense would say leave the transmission in neutral.

FAIL is mummifying a postal box with waterproof melting duct tape only to realise you left out the packing slip. Especially after a few hours when the tape's melted together.
