we used to spray our cat with water when it got on the bench ....it would just sit there holding its paws up ...so we gave up. but my cat is awesome and it does whatever it wants because it is awesome.(but it doesnt piss everywhere)

You can also put adhesive tape, they will not like the sticky feeling.

I'll try to correct it with my bb gun. Yes, I will, I don't care if it hurts, the only thing I like to do (lasers too... but its no the same thing) and it have to piss over it.... just NO!

Not the way to correct it. If you can't respect your pet and have it respect you then you may not deserve to have it.
 
Lol this is so funny... My good buddy has a cat that pisses on his bed every chance she gets... She pissed on it the other day and he quickly put it in the wash. 2 hours later right after the sheet is back on his bed... Cat pees again... OVer and Over and over haha Sorry logan.
 
Mom has indoor cats and they piss where they are not supposed sometimes. She has this stuff they sell at pet stores to take that urine smell out but I'm not sure if it would be safe on a guitar, I believe its designed to use on furniture.

Sorry to hear about your guitar but shooting an animal or even hitting it is no answer. I know people discipline their kids by hitting but IMHO its not called for. I have 2 little ones and believe me, there are other ways to teach them right from wrong without hitting them.

My cat is an outdoor cat. I have a litter box just in case but I never have to clean it because he goes outside!!! LOL. He's a good boy :D
 
Actually, we have this spray used to deter pets. I bought when my dog decided it liked chewing garden reticulation fittings. Spray the nuisance areas every couple of days, cats and dogs hate the smell...

Another tip I learned when my dog was a puppy (and before I had his balls removed) is that you must clean up the pee and get rid of the scent ASAP. Simply dont give in. Do not let them think it is their territory, it is yours and your the pack leader!

Disclaimer: Pack leader does not apply to cats, only a swift foot does.
