[Dual diode 407nm] Titan's Twin 1.5W @1.1A

Re: [Dual diode 405nm] Titan's Twin 1.3W @1.1A

I could imagine. I recently did about a 700mw 405nm in a dominator host and it was a pretty good burner too. And the beam was beautifully bright. I really would like to see yours in person (along with the rest) to really see what the camera is not.

I think I've found my mentor for my first double diode :D
I want to get it started soon, but don't really have a machinist that has experience in the building phase. Maybe you could help me with the maglite heatsink design for a simple 445nm double build if you wouldn't mind.

Well I'll do my best... start with what diodes you really want then driver and battery configuration.

Really a dual 445nm with x drives, running off two 32650, or 26650 seems like the way to go.

I just don't know the dimensions. How far Apart should the diodes be, how far is the cube from the diode, and dichro from the diode. But I'm sure I can work it out. I just can't machine it myself, so trial and error isn't an option.

I've got some ideas for a build dual 445 subtle differences than above, let me get to the PM's keep an eye out.

Wow 1.3w of 405nm!!
That's amazing!:bowdown::bowdown:

Your skill at advanced creative technical innovation never ceases to amaze. This your latest dual 405 creation evokes the Sleek, Sultry, Lethalness of yet an earlier "Ultraviolet" variant . . .

Amazing work Jander :bowdown: That is one incredible laser! This would also be great for making a mixed diode build i.e red and green etc? Or perhaps 2 x Mits 500 for around 2 W! ;) Well deserved +1 :beer:

Hido ken mita itzo ma JAEGAR! Lol love that show. Awesome build! +1

a work of art! subime, elegant, but will it pass the balloon test?

Thanks man I love these kinda statements!!!:beer:

I was thinking the same thing maybe another build with broadband cube to be able to swap diodes:thanks:

:thanks:

Awesome build like always ! :beer:

I could focus one for near tight and one for further out tight and prolly set a record:na: problem is I would need some sort of team to pull that off (all those balloons) or 1 near and 1 waaaaaaaaaaayyyyy out there.:beer::beer::thanks:
