To be technically correct, they have laser pointers attached, not laser beams.

That is just too funny:)

Depending on the power of the pointer, the 2nd dog might need a seeing eye dog!

I wouldn't worry about it, these small red diodes pet toys are usually way under 5mW sometimes even less then 1mW.
If it were a 532nm, labeled 5mW or less, I would be cautious. Plus your dog is moving her head so much, no real danger.

My dogs have gotten wise about laser spots. They don't even flinch when they see one anymore:)

That's funny I need to make one of those for my dog that way she would quit bugging me to pull out a laser and play.
