Dinodirect warning

WOW that sucks, I was laughing so hard at the part where they examined it yet its was in your possession the entire time. What a scam it sounds like there running. Best of luck getting your problem solved hope it all works out for ya and they either refund you or give ya a good laser.

i was thinking of dealing with them, but then i changed my mind... i read a lot of their review stuff and people were saying how much underspec'd their products were. or somethings say 200mw in the title, but if you read the stats it says 30-50mw or something retarded like that. so i was like hell no.

i trust rayfoss' store. i dunno if you ever heard of rayfoss yet.

www.rayfoss.com

this one is like 5 dollars more for the laser and 5 for shipping so 80$ total for a 100mw laser. it's not IR filtered, but it's definitely a good deal. i got this exact model from them and it works great.

Yes listen to dent, Rayfloss.com seems real good so far, Im awaiting an order from them atm. There were some initial shipping problems (China wouldnt send the package because she labeled it as electronic gift sample and so they wouldnt ship it out of china) but Faona worked it all out and was real helpful. In the end they ended up making me a new laser which is stronger then the initial one. She says its 185mw. Its one they way now. So definitely look into them for your next buy. There are also several other sites that are good as well look around the forums and youll find a bunch.

Rayfoss and O-like are probably better choices to buy from. I have purchased from o-like several times and have gotten good products. Import lasers from the far east vary massively in quality. I have a 200mW baton style green from DX, and a 50mW greem pen from them as well. The 200mW baton only puts out 100mW. The 50mW pen puts out between 80 and 100mW. Rayfoss and O-like seem to look at their stuff, and even test it. The other import vendors don't.

Man that sucks. I would keep bugging them until it was resolved. Send them an email everyday or maybe everyone here could... Might send a message if 100+ emails came in from the largest laser community on the web who knows...

this would surely make people think twice before they buy a laser from dinodirect.

P.S. grappig t-shirt lol ( funny t-shirt lol)

But aren't these batteries supposed to put out 4.25 volts? At least that's what they say on the labels.

EDIT:: My bad, I was thinking of 10440s.

It is indeed a very handsome 70 dollar paperweight, I want to thank you all for your support, I think all the hits on the you tube video and my complaints to BBB and paypal are paying off. The reply has gone from check the battery to, please drop the complaint we will try to send you a new laser,to, we will send you a new laser a soon as possible but we would like to test it first. (Damn fine policy that checking first, coulda saved a shitload of time). I have advised them my nerd rage shall persist until a working laser arrives and I have tested it to my satisfaction.:thanks:

Hello, LPF members.
Thanks for your hot topic to make us concerned of this laser quality issue.
After receiving your previous feedback, we have asked our product department to rearrange our stock, and we have already terminated cooperation with that laser-making company. To get the precise laser power, we have designed it to our quality control dept. We do believe that this issue would never happen again.

To Esmits, we are sorry to make you into a dilemma situation. We RECOGNIZED it's our miss. We would like to resend a brand new laser in short term.

As for other LPF members, DinoDirect is preparing a free laser trial campaign in upcoming month. We hope you can help us to make a test whether our laser reached power creteria or not.

All the details will be unveiled next month.

:thanks:
