Dinodirect warning

Its funny really, Dino direct is running around behind me, leaving a trail of "me so sorry" messages. I then follow THAT trail leaving my own trail of, "sorry dont put a green dot on my wall, send me my laser", messages. We have gone from "ours is fine, check the battery" ( failing to mention it was the custom battery THEY sent, not like I have those laying around) to " gee we knew those sucked, sorry about that we send new one soon soon". I guess they have not noticed I reply to ALL of these messages, while finding new forums every day. Not sure how they missed that as I informed them of my intentions. So, one more time for the semi literate in charge of Dinodirect communications, I WILL COMPLAIN UNTIL I NO LONGER HAVE A REASON, this means the day I have a working 100mw laser in my hands. And I assure you, this package will be opened ON FILM and compared immediatly to a 5mw laser, so dont send me crap this time (if you plan on sending anything at all that is, so far its all talk).

and when they say to all other members of this forum does that mean you do not wish to include me? sure sounds like it lol

As for other LPF members, DinoDirect is preparing a free laser trial campaign in upcoming month

Sure, Esmits.
You are the one included.:yh:
Sorry for the inconvenience we brought u.

Glad to see things seem to be working out for ya with them man, Keep us posted.

Not too sure about that Lt, so far they are following me around the forums talking about how sorry they are and how much they want to send me a new laser ( and now an extra freebie maybe) but so far nothing has been sent except excuses and empty promises. If they really wanted to send me a new laser I think it would have been done by now.:yabbem:

From what DINO DIRECT said in post 16...

They have stopped using a supplier and have assigned this issue to the Quality department.

I wonder if Quality is figuring out that 99% of the stock they had was bunk?

I do hope you get your laser soon and it is up to spec.

(Never ordered from DD only from O'like and Moddwerx and had some excellent dealings with FLAMING"IBUILDTHEMAWESOME"PYRO.... )

ok, just got an e-mail saying my new 100mw laser has just been sent, meanwhile i have purchased 4 different 5 mw lasers from e-bay (total cost under 20 euros, delivery included). I will use these lasers to compare to what dino sends, all on video of course. Will keep you posted :yh:

Too bad you didn't order from Laserlands.com. Their 100mw laser similar to yours was $72 on the website, and I'm positive that Merry would make sure that you were satisfied with your laser.
I had a problem with a laser from laserlands.com once. My adjustable focus laser focal distance was not up to my expectations after I had it for about a month. Merry offered a replacement, until I discovered that the lens had unscrewed due to vibration, and I readjusted the lens myself. No return was necessary, but Laserlands.com stood behind their product, and offered an acceptable solution. They have always taken responsibility for their products. I have purchased over 11 different lasers, and I have never had a single problem. Thank you Merry and Laserlands.com!

You certainly talk a lot about laserlands......

Well now were talking, new laser arrived (very fast shipping this time) and they sent a 150mw, no complaints here. It has popped balloons and lit a match, maybe this summer I will try matrix meets karate kid and try to pop a fly. Key feature even works. I opened the package and compared it to a 5 mw all on video, will post it soon. I just want to make sure I am still this happy in 48 hours, if I am I will drop my BBB complaint and give Dino props for (finally after great pressure) coming through with a nice laser. Again, thnx for the support, glad I found this forum, im learning a bit more about lasers and didnt even hurt myself, its a good life.

saw your video, understand how you feel, I bought a 200mW green similar to it, and it worked, but it was less than 5mW, and I was chating with them for hours explain the fraud!!

I just received 2 laser from Dinodirect, they are both garbage. :tsk:

One other thing, I see dinodirect advertising at this site... wtf!

Esmits - your original battery was dead. If you have a LiCo or LiMn 18650 sitting open circuit at 3.6v IT IS DEAD. It had enough power left to light the tiny LED, but not enough current to support the laser.

A fully charged cell will be 4.20v open circuit.

I can't comment on the actual laser, but you either had a battery that was not charged, a defective charger or a defective cell. D'oh!!!!
