sorry....i'd love to join in but these posts are too long, and my attention span is too short to read them
Dark Horse,
you are right. There were a couple here that got way too involved. They did it for reasons unknown. I'm glad things have been settled between you and Dark. Everyone else, should definitely leave Tyler alone about it now. If there is something you'd like to take up with him, do it via PM. NOT here.
I don't care to read about how some guy got a bad laser part from Tyler. Thats between him and Tyler.
I don't care to read one person antagonize, and push around another member because of their past record, or past PMs, or past deals. It not cool to bully around like so. Do it via PM. Keep the drama OFF the threads please. Such bullying is childish. Such bullying is cowardly to do on the internet at that.
There is only ONE moderator here. Let him decide who is an issue and who is not.
This is why its getting harder and harder for me to read LPF anymore....
No where near enough moderation in behavior around here. Very little professionalism.
Please all, no more drama in the threads. This is quite old.
Thank you. I've just wanted to say that for awhile now.

Sorry Dave, but even though I feel Tyler may be acting a little too emotional and defensive in his replies, I still think you are in the wrong here. You may have included a little side note about him just having to fix it if it was an honest mistake, but the main part of your post was a full on, unfair attack, which you now refuse to apologize for.
I have a lot of respect for you and your contributions to this forum, but I cannot just stand by and watch when you treat a member like this.
You might have had other encounters with Tyler which cause you to have this attitude towards him, but in this particular issue he was not responsible for problem but still had to get a load of crap from you.
And Greg.. I must say I am offended by your post. You seem to have some major problem with anyone new or young, just because you have had bad experience with a few noobs here. You may have been here for longer, done a lot of deals and are older, but that does not mean you can talk down to other members like that. I am getting quite sick of the "We hate young people" mentality on the forum lately. Many very helpful and polite members here are younger than 25, and several troublemakers have been at least 30. Quit spewing all this prejudice crap. There are black sheep in any herd.

Omg, not again.......
Dave, Dark, quit the flame wars already.....
Seems like a misunderstanding, nothing more.
Dark, FIX IT ASAP.
Don't drag this out over a month. Just get the background changed TODAY...so we can all move along...
We still have a couple of dozen DJR full-body heatsinks ready to go. We plan to do a full restock of updated heatsinks for new hosts, plus some other laser-related items by the end of the year. I also plan to add some high-voltage-items to the catalog, Kits for building Tesla-Coils, Van de graff generators, etc. Stay tuned.

Unfortunately, not everything can be handled in PM's. Some things must be handled publicly in order to get change.
If private pressure does not work then public pressure must be used.
If there are people being harmed because someone is hiding in the shadows. The actions must be brought to light.
If people are being harmed because the only voice that they hear is the one doing them harm, then other voices must be called out.
I am sorry for the drama. We have lost some very good members because of it. I have been around long enough for people to know that I do not rise to action swiftly or without good cause. Unfortunately, sometimes drama is the only available tool in an internet forum.
Peace,
dave
