Re: PRESALE: Copper Pen Host - The Cypreus Series 2x10440 and 1x10440

:na: Gotcha!

Re: PRESALE: Copper Pen Host - The Cypreus Series 2x10440 and 1x10440

Tthat what I was talking about lol. Well the 1w would be great, but I'm being realistic with my wallet

Re: PRESALE: Copper Pen Host - The Cypreus Series 2x10440 and 1x10440

Is this the same 120mw 520nm he was selling for the past couple months? Or is this another one that is factory rated at 120mw that can be pushed higher? I have one right now I bought from him that is doing 108mw w/G lens and if there is another one doing more I must have one.

Sinner, you ever built a handheld for a C-mount before?

Re: PRESALE: Copper Pen Host - The Cypreus Series 2x10440 and 1x10440

It's a new diode doing around 250mW safely ;)

Oh my! Who's got 'em and how much are they? This sounds too good to be true. Not as much as the 1w we are still waiting to get results on. If it does 2w I think I will have an aneurism or two....

$160 pre-wired.? Worth it :p and in a sinner pen! What!
This next set is going to be epic.

So who wants the v3s for $400 haha!

Sinner, is there an ETA for these hosts? Also, can I change my host to matte black?

Are these direct press or 12mm modules? How long does the entire module have to be to make contact with the batteries?

Really excited for this host

Sure, already changed that for you  rest of the info will be available in the build thread soon.

:thanks:

BUILD THREAD! Thats what I'm talking about. Nothing shows of the host and ease of build like a build thread :D

Re: PRESALE: Copper Pen Host - The Cypreus Series 2x10440 and 1x10440

Direct press isn't sinner style. Would be surprised if they were.

Thank goodness :)

I will put the new plp 450b in this host for a 2.2 watt blue :)

Excited! Still no ETA? Before end of the month?

Yeah direct press hosts have their benefits, but it would hurt sales due to the difference in construction. Some love them, but more are deterred by them

Yeah direct press sucks, it limits you to whichever size you buy. Until recently if you wanted the 520 then you'd need a 3.8mm direct press (unless it was module based then you can use anything!)

Kryton Grooves were 5.6mm so I am glad for the new 520nm diode since I can complete my groove set now. If they were module based then it'd be done by now! I agree with Sinner's module choice, best of all worlds and gives the buyer the option of anything that fits in a module, aka EVERYTHING :D minus those C-Mounts ;)

I have some c mounting brackets I bet I cold fit in a sinner host :p take a little creativity, but I'm pretty sure it could be done.

I love ehgemus hosts, but have you noticed how much longer it take him to sell the direct press ones then the module types. I think we will see less and less direct press because of the lack of interest in them .
