I think it's too late to wonder if it's as safe as goggles.... I can point my lasers directly at my pupil, and just see the red glow of the LD (keep in mind the lasers are <50mW green). I am wondering if this is as safe as goggles.... What do ya think?
yes it's true, but by means of power meter you could have an indication of the beam power before and after the use of filters. I have done several times and you can easily see the difference between safety goggles and Ray-BanIts NOT that easy, that doesn't account for bleaching or burning.
