Guess it all depends on the end numbers..they're making this a difficult.

The storm was pretty bad out here...tornado sirens at 3, and the lightning was so frequent that it caused a strobe in the room through the window.

I'd post a picture comparing 405 to 473 but my labby has such bad divergence and it's pretty much a guaranteed TEM01 at best. Will try though.

When do you think we will start to find out how much prices go up? I know in the other GB the price of the 585 dollar 589 went up to 680 or so after currency change costs, shipping costs, insurance costs, etc.

I wonder if that is simply due to the GB runner being in Austria though....If costs don't go up too terribly much, I may get two lasers. The 500mW 532nm PGL-III-C and a 473nm PGL-III-C or GLP. As much as I want a 589nm, I think I am going to wait until another GB offers the 80mW one.

EDIT: If we get the 10 pcs price on the PGL-III-C 800mW, I will probably get only that one. If we don't get the 10 pcs price on the PGL-III-C 800mW, it will mean that every other laser which we do not have ten purchasers for will not get reduced price, so I will likely only get the PGL-III-C 500mW Laser as it appears there is quite a bit of interest in it. You may remove my name from the GLP-589 list.

It's all USD and I operate in the US, so no currency issues. One shipping cost to me, then to everyone else, and an insurance cost. That should be all. I can ask, but I'm 99% sure I'm going to get asked how many we're getting, and we don't know that yet.

Just want to double check something: What safety features do the PGL-III-C Lasers come with? I know it has aperture shutter, but what about key switch, safety dongle, delay, etc? I am wondering if these will be fully FDA compliant.

Also I update my above post. If we get the 10 pcs price for the 800mW 532nm, that is what I will be getting. If not, then probably just the 500mW unless I can raise more funds for this. Let me know when we find out what price we will get.

I come back, and there are questions with answers already. Am I even running this GB? Ha.

Anyway, down to business. I spoke with Ava about pricing. We decided on updating them on the current standings. I'm going to add the maybes into it because most of them were pending discount pricing anyway. This will be done periodically to update them. So in the morning I will run through, update the current standings, and forward them to Ava. Then tomorrow night we should have a ballpark answer on what we're dealing with.

Gun- Am I considering you a maybe for a 473nm PGL-III-C?

WannaBurn- Maybe for GLP 473/589? Or consider you out when I forward to CNI?

I am not in for any GLP lasers.

I AM in for PGL-III-C 800mW 532nm Laser. If we don't get the discount I will have to do 500mW instead. I am sorry for the confusion. My heart says "BUY THEM ALL!" My mind says "DON'T SUCCUMB TO PROSTITUTION"!

I'm a maybe for the 473nm PGL-III-C if we can get 10PSC.

I'm also semi-interested in the 671nm. Is it considered an "exotic" wavelength and how visible is it?

That's the way I'm feeling lately:p
I'm definitely in for the PGL-III-C 800mW 532nm, but only if there's enough people to get the price to 390$, if not I'd stick with 500mw version...for the good of the others:D

Er, yes put me down for a maybe. I'm still deciding whether to get the CNI 473nm, the single mode from you or the CNI 671nm. So hard to choose!
