It's not completely invisible to most people. If it's powerful enough, the red cones in your eyes will respond to the light, and your brain will mark it as a deep crimson. If you increase the wavelength to 980nm, you wouldn't be able to see it at all. I've used my IR laser as a flashlight when wearing night vision goggles, and they're also really good at engraving black plastic. They aren't as enjoyable as the visible lasers, but they do have uses. I've even been thinking about getting a 532nm DPSS crystal to use with the HL808 for fun.

About the diffraction grating caps they have two sorts. A star pattern amd a circle pattern.
Also every laser will now be shipped with two plugs. The normal one for FDA reasons and a real simple shorter one.
Next two new lasers (not adding to the GB but maybe if someone really wants one we can work this out on PM i don't know how many are available!)
They have put the single mode 450nm diode in a HL host. Not really that special.
AND HL-520nm-50mW laser!! Yes a diode green laser! How sweet is that?

Yes you are correct about that it is not on the website. It is brand new.. seems like these wavelenths are going to be available for the general public in near future. This would be a sneak peak of that if i can reservate a few for you guys that is

yeah i'm sure they have quite a bit of diffraction grating caps though. i would be interested in these as well for my upcoming lasers.

The power of the HL single mode would be 100mW. I don't know prices of that. The 520nm direct green would be 50mW.

Personally I just love diffraction caps.
With a little smoke, even the most basic laser, instead of a single beam produces a show, so I try to make sure every laser I have, has them
Also they are a neat little safety device, and work to protect the lens if you're outside.
The power of the HL single mode would be 100mW. I don't know prices of that. The 520nm direct green would be 50mW.
