So where would I be able to find a 3.8mm diode press? I don't have any machining tools, so that's out of the question. Right now, I intend on buying a DC power supply, this way I can test the diode safely, along with other electronics projects I've been working on.

I asked a similar question in the discussion thread and I'm just going to make my own. Fiddy said drilling a 2.5mm hole into a piece of metal (I assume wood would work too) should work as a makeshift press. if you're in the US and you don't have a 2.5mm bit a 3/32 or 7/64 bit would be the closest size.

i've used the back of an aixiz to press an osram 445 diode into the module

PM LAZEERER, I think he bought 20 extra to close out this buy. IIRC he said he will sell those. :)

I did Order Extras as "Replacments" So Iam Sure Ill Have a Few Left over. However You will have to wait untill everyone gets there diodes first.

Ill Concider a Round 3. But it probebly wont be for a Wial.

Had you PMed and told me your situation i would had put you in if you told me you would have paypent later on.:(

Still waiting to get the Shipping Notice.:beer:

Its ~1 month till they get to me and then ship out to you guys. So we have a little more time to go.:)

Let LAZEERER fill any orders he wants to fill first. I don't want to stick him with a bunch of reds that he doesn't need. But once he says he is definitely out then I can do one more. After that I'd like to keep the rest of the ones I have ordered right now.

So, to be clear... I'll let you guys both check with LAZEERER when the diodes come in. If he has them I'll let you get them from him. If he is out, or would rather keep what he has, then I'll sell each of you (MJoe and Midias) one diode each at my cost.
