CLOSED! Diffraction Gratings. 13,500 lines/inch double axis

Re: FS: Diffraction Gratings. 13,500 lines/inch double axis

I bought a set last time, its a good deal.

Re: FS: Diffraction Gratings. 13,500 lines/inch double axis

Alright I've decided to go ahead and order these again. I had to order more this time to get them for the same price (I think their shipping price went up?) So minimum order quantity will be two pieces.

Since I'm not sure how holiday shipping will effect these shipments, I'm going to wait to receive payments until I actually have them in hand. PM me or post on this thread and I'll add you to the list.

Re: FS: Diffraction Gratings. 13,500 lines/inch double axis

You should also get the 500lines/inch. They make great reference spectrometers.

Re: FS: Diffraction Gratings. 13,500 lines/inch double axis

I'm in for 4 pieces. Good price.
PM me the PP price and email address.

Alright I put you on the list. I'll be PMing everyone on the list when they come in.

If you setup a 500line/mm grating on a fixed place and shine a laser into it, it will cause the beam to spread out. Each wavelength has a specific distance from the first dot. this gives you an approximation of wavelength... You can use this to determine if your bluray diode is 405nm or higher.

Here are pics of my setup. You can see that the lasers are shined into the same grating which doesn't move. The first dot is lined up with the edge of the wood and the second dot gives your reference.

by the way this is backwards. Incident 1 should be on the left. The reference should be on the right.

I know there is a way to measure the distance from the grating to incident 1 and the distance from incident 1 and 2 and formulate the exact wavelength.
Another neat thing is the further from the grating you go, the further incident 1 and 2 are from one another which gives you even more clarity

Is that a slit in tape on the front of the grating?

Re: FS: Diffraction Gratings. 13,500 lines/inch double axis

:bumpit: I would like to change my request to 5 ....I didn't notice the updated price list

:thanks:

Re: FS: Diffraction Gratings. 13,500 lines/inch double axis

I would be interested in 2 of these, could you let me know how much shipping to the UK would be?:thanks:

Re: FS: Diffraction Gratings. 13,500 lines/inch double axis

actually now.. I'm not sure if i wanna get 4. Is there anything special you can do with more than 2?

I guess just to have extras, in case you damage one or get it messy. Also you could make a nice picture with more. When I get them in, and some of my lasers in, I think I'll do a Red, Green, Blue, Violet shot using some of these.

I'll change yours to 2 if you want.

Re: FS: Diffraction Gratings. 13,500 lines/inch double axis

that is great deal!
these things are like our star caps
five different effects

Re: FS: Diffraction Gratings. 13,500 lines/inch double axis

Hey Bryce Thanks! I just love these difraction gratings! Here is 100 mW of 473 nm 45 mW of green and 150 mW of red with them...

They are some very nice pics :) And a great sale!

Re: FS: Diffraction Gratings. 13,500 lines/inch double axis

Hey Bryce007... you never did answer Kenom's query about
the 500 line single axis Diffraction Gratings...
I'd be more interested in those... and also 1000 line single
axis units...
