What would it take for you to realize it is a hoax? Would the hunters have to admit it? Would the FBI have to break down their door and produce the costume?
this is why i want it to be real. to see you skepticists get OWNED! i dont believe it per se, i just very much want it to be true. a guy can hope cant he?

And the one guy who is/was a police officer is now getting fired because he perpetrated this hoax... dumbass.

What the hell did they hope to gain by perpatrating such a feable hoax? I cannot see how they will make much money out of it......I don't see the bigfoot expedition business taking off for them any time soon........

This is why no one takes this seriously. I work with Rick Noll, (The Bigfoot Hunter), here in Washington State. I have had many long discussions with him on this subject. He is rational to a fault and admits he will likely never find conclusive evidence of Bigfoot, (I think secretly hopes no one ever does). He approaches it as scientifically as he can, using motion-sensors, camera-traps, night-vision camera on a telescope illuminated with a 70mW 532nM laser, so he can take pictures in the dark across a canyon. He is the researcher that found the infamous "Skookum cast", an impression allegedly left by a bigfoot laying on its side to get at a piece of fruit they had left in the middle of a mud puddle the night before. I have my daughter talk with him about his many of his adventures, it is all very interesting, and an excellent lesson in critical-thinking.
The History Channel has sent Rick to Asia to investigate a couple of "crypto-zooilogical" creatures there, and to Mexico to investigate the "Chupacobra"-(goat-sucker). I am building him a 405nM laser with a line generator to take with him on his next expedition to use with some "CSI" spray. This spray is normally invisible to the eye, except it fluoreces, so you can spray an area, and check later to see if it has been disturbed. Sort of like Sherlock Holmes used to do with flour.
Really interesting stuff, and I would love for any of this to be proven, (aliens, elvis and an afterlife too), but for now, I am very skeptical. Hopefully next-time.

What's that?[/quote]
Rick Noll is a person, he calls himself "The Bigfoot Hunter". Rick has appeared in several documentaries regarding Bigfoot and other "crypto-zooilogical" creatures. His day-job is measuring the tools I design with a "laser-tracker".
