You sure? I won't push the matter, but I don't think you're right...

I looked at their laser pics and said nice things about their lasers. I call that laser related. You can have it though.

Thanks for letting me have it, but it doesn't change... You bypassed the rules, and that is not cool. If you made meaningful contributions to the forum i would have said yes, but instead, you say stuff like:

-How did you get all those circles, just time lapse?

-Never get tired of a good prism...

-Now I want a tri-dot... great work!

-Great pics!

-Oo, love the yellow

-Love the tunnel effect!

-Congrats on the build, looks great!

-Wow, great vid!

-Does want!

You are taking the meaning of "laser related" too literally.
See for yourself: http://laserpointerforums.com/search.php?searchid=1336010

And technically this means the winning bid should have been $200 becuase all bids after were by Vivaldi, but I don't think Laser83 will give up money :)

Good day sir

That link is dead. Regardless, the Rules for the board clearly say:

"In order to start a thread, the member must now have 20 **laser related** posts and have a "positive" reputation (green squares)."

I was not trying to start a thread. I was simply replying to a post, there IS a difference. My posts were legal. It's not my call in the end, but the price should stand at 270.

I don't know how old you are, but nobody likes a troll. And I want my rep points back, I shouldn't be punished for saying nice things to people about the work they've done.

Well, you can just click on your name, and click "Find more posts by Vivaldi"

They are all fillers with no actual value. You cannot deny that...

And no i am not a troll. In fact i have been here for almost a year and as you can see i have earned trust here. I also do not like being taken advantage of.

I would advise you rethink your ways before talking again.
Good day

Vivaldi, you are wrong here, KRNAZNBOY is right. Stop trying to convince us otherwise, its like trying to convince a car manufacturer that they make airplanes- in other words, totally not going to work.

Thanks for backing me up here crazyspaz! If the community though you were right, Vivaldi, then you wouldn't be getting more negative rep.

As you can see, its not just me :)

Good day!

Just icing on the situation, all your 'laser related" posts happen to be necroposts so they don't count to begin with. Your red bars came from about 10 different people and majority from your necroposts so they don't even know what's happening here. To sum it up, you are wrong, you lost, gwt over it and move on or leave, either way you are wrong

I've always interpreted that rule as meaning you cannot start a thread with less than 20 posts in B/S/T. I've never seen someone told my a mod not to post within a BST thread who had less than 20 posts.

Yes anyone can post in a forsale ad that's already approves but the part he fails at is

SPAMMING the boards with short, non-content related posts to reach 20 may lead to a ban

Anyone can post in a sales thread, but any seller would be foolish to sell to someone who only makes necroposts and doesnt put forth any effort to make themselves seem trusted. At the end of the day it is the seller's choice.

The restriction here is that a member may not **START** a thread with less than 20 laser related posts and positive rep

ANY MEMBER can reply in a thread and participate in threads

Vivaldi was and is allowed to post and participate in this

The neg rep over this was wrong

I am going to unlock the thread

I expect to see as much energy put into apologizing as I saw in trying to run him out

I took care of the "spam" issue

I trust that this will end this problem

Peace,
dave

:na:

I thought I would join this pissing match too lol.

Dave to the rescue ;) I thought that was how the rules were written.

I can understand the argument though this was a pretty good package if all the descriptions are true

One that I have become a fan of lately is USPS Money orders... ultimate seller protection. no risk of fraudulent disputes.
