Good deal! I once bought a 405 "<5mW" from an eBay seller for $2! I ended up being pretty satisfied with it :)

Do you have an LPM Wizard? Will be interesting to see what you actually get.
Recently got 5 way over-spec 532/405/650 pens for about $13 free shipping US sellers. Both had goofed on their prices and immediately fixed them after I got the deals. I have a huge # of way over-spec pens but couldn't resist when I saw the prices as they were from sellers that I have bought from before that are my good pen tutorial ones.
Want to know if these are the "good" easily focusable ones that I get.

Also interested in the power outputs, and how much IR they spit out

I've got access to an NIST certified LPM @ work. I'll let you know

WOW! less than 3$ each. i remember when i was little (like 10 years ago...) i would want those cheap red laser pointers in the store that were always like 20$ and probably couldn't hold a candle to those lasers, and they are DPSS!!! crazy how fast technology is changing.

I purchased similar 532nm pens on ebay for like 2.80$ each. Well, I can tell you that they were the worst lasers that I've ever seen. Not sure if you could even call them lasers at all. Their output was far below 1mW, I could barely even see the dot up close in a pitch dark room. There was one single unit out of the 10 that probably made the 1mW mark. Hell, some of them didn't even put out any visible light. I however didn't want to look inside the lasers when turned on as I was afraid of possible damaging IR outputs.

Hope you do receive decent quality pens. Oh and by the way, even though most of them were damaged on the outside as well, Paypal wouldn't give me my money back. So it's pretty much 28$ flushed down the toilet.

So, I received all 20 that I ordered. Metering them will have to wait until Monday but they're clearly from 2 different lots. 10 appear to be ~10-20 mW (after a few seconds of warmup and mode hopping) and the other 10.....suck.

I got one dud. Two overspecs...I can see the beam and focus to make a little smoke. The rest are just cat teasers. One of them really bright just as I click it the goes down to about 40 mw

Sorry about the delay in posting this. I spent the last few days praying before the porcelain buddah due to some form of food poisoning. I batched these up by eye into two groups; the ones that 'work' and the ones that suck. I was most surprised by how consistent the IR output of the crappy ones is from unit to unit. The one with a green out put of nada makes a faint green smudge of light but it's too dim for me to meter.

Wow that's pretty craptastic lol. They must be the ones that failed the "turn on" test somewhere :D
