Hi CDBEAM. Nice to see you again. Yeah, I just bought the 445nm cylindrical lens trio from Techhood. Still want to know if anyone else has bought a set of these. The center lens corrects in the 90 degree axis to the others. I have a pair of the 6X from Opt lasers too. Have the diode and need to decide what to put it in. I'm thinking of using my empty MS-SSW-II where I will have the room to add the clear tube to add the optics to. That should make an aesthetic build.

Astralist....Question....I assume it is possible to connect a 1K external pot for current adjustment on the Super Drive LV ???? Also....the unit looks great....Thanx for all the effort !!!

Sorry Paul....missed your post !! Good luck with your build !! And Yes....you know I am a big fan in the use of an Acrylic tube as a canopy to cover the optic goodies ! Seems as though....some members really like this " Skeletal Display "....and some think it is ....well..." Cheesy " :undecided::undecided: Some object to the scattered bright light, passing thru the canopy during unit operation. I can understand this objection.

Well....what I really want is this.....

Smart Window Film ? Switchable PDLC Film

A thin rectangle of this flexible sheet....positioned on the underside of the Acrylic canopy !!! Wanna take a look....give the sheet some VDC....want to block the display because it is too bright !!! Turn power off !! Hmmmm....we have the technology. We can have it ALL....at a cost !!:eg:

I will investigate this material !! I am sure that the company who makes this will be quite anxious for my purchase of...say....one (1) square foot !!!!:crackup::crackup::crackup:

Maybe they will " Throw the Dog a Bone "....and provide some " scraps " off the production floor....for a " novel " application....:yh:

Anyway.....gotta keep innovating !!! Geeze....I have so many projects....and I seem to add to the list daily.....I will never get to them all....ever....but....that makes life a enjoyable challenge !!!

It is possible if you remove the onboard trimmer and replace it with external pot,
But as for now it doesn't have dedicated pad for doing an external pot mod.

Update:

Per 26 July 2017, there is one components of PicoDrive still in custom clearance, hence that particular board is not assembled as of yet.

All three kinds of board will be shipped (combined shipping) once they're all assembled.
I can actually request separate shipping but that is quite extravagant (for now).

Thanx...A pot...I can pull off ! Silicon wire leads...I can solider on !!! ANY of that Surface Mount BS....Forgetaboutit !!!

Note; Thanx Paul....The LCD Flex Canopy project is # 247 on the list !!!:crackup::crackup: The question is....how /where does one attach the power to align the Liquid Crystal particles ????? IF the hook-up's are fixed at the factory....then....the cell size is likely limited to a range of " Window Size " choices !!!
So....you wanna 50mm x 75mm size....Sure...That'll be $ 478.00 per unit !!! Ya right !!!:yabbmad::yabbmad::

SO...." tap, tap, tap" when is the SD LV gonna be ready ???
