8X Burner sleds, 1st time ever in a GB!

Hey Glenn....

If they are 8X complete sleds... I'll take one...
How much extra for shipping to Quebec, Canada...

Jerry

I'm in for one to the UK for sure, perhaps more but I can't commit to more than one ATM.

Hey Charlie,

Do you want go halveses on the shipping? Might be easier to get them to one UK address?

M
:)

Canada and Europe are about $7 dollars more than USA shipping. & I want to fund order by Thursday, please. -Glenn

It would be even easier if you didn't want all the full sled. I would be willing to pull the diodes in their heat sinks for you.

Peace,
dave

Hi Dave,

In ordinary circumstances I would go for that but my curiosity to dismantle a new sled won't let me I'm afraid. :shhh:

Thanks for the offer though. Charlie might want to go for that?

It's not just a cost efficiency thing though. It just seems to make sense and saves Scopeguy having to make up two packages that are essentially going to the same neighbourhood. Of course, Mr Bruce might not want to do this so I wait for his thoughts.

FULL ESD precautions are now in place including earthed iron!

Dave I'm a Ukie as well. Would you mind doing that for me, if shipping works out a lot?

Rob

edit - Charlie/morgan - split 3 ways?

Yeah, I'd be in for split shipping if it helps/saves money, and I'd prefer sled form if it doesn't add too much to the cost. How would we do the shipping, then? (Also replied to your PM, Morgan)

I think it is only another $7 for international shipping. It won't make a big difference. However, sometimes a little can make the difference, eh? ;)

Peace,

Lol as long as my argon sale goes through, I should have enough for one of these and 1 445nm diode

Cool, I'd suggest that one of us pays the whole shipping to make it meerkat, "simples", for Scopeguy and then we sort small PPs between us? If it'll help Rob too then why not inlcude him? Once they arrive, whoever receives them can post them out. Obviously, once they get here safely, Scopeguy cannot be held responsible for any mishaps but that's only fair. Registered post should be fine for a single or double sled.

Your thoughts gentlemen please.

I think the sleds, (up to three), would fit in a Priority flat rate box. (ships for about $13-$14 to most of Europe and Canada), But the diodes would fit in a 1st class padded envelope, (likely about $4- $6 just like USA cost of Sm Priority box). It isn't a lot cheaper, but I'm fine with either way folks. -Glenn

In the UK we can ship a sled for about £5 insured for the full value, or £1 - £1.50, insured for £41 (2/3rds of the value?) - a diode on its own shipped in the UK would be marginally cheaper but the difference would be in the region of pennies.

I like the sound of Priority flat rate for all sleds to one person in the UK, who then sends it 1st class (insured to £41, costing about £1 or £1.40 with delivery confirmation) to each buyer. Everyone else happy with that?
