50mW 561nm PGL-III-C Review

Re: 60mW 561nm PGL-III-C Pre-Review

Far from it Smeer, this is one hell of an ugly color :D

Also, seeing the beam is NO issue here ;)

It's not like I can't just take the pictures now, but I feel... "wrong" hue-ing the colors...

Taking a closer look, even hue-ing it doesn't accurately show the color. It's still a little more yellow than this.

I think the second shot is pritty spot on, except it's a bit pixelated... (and yeah i do agree it should have a bit more yellow tint)

This will be my next CNI handheld for sure!

If you ever sell it, before i can get my hands on one myself... count me in ^^ hahah.

+1 Cheers  Sm.

I'd say you're close with the first one. The second is way too pale.

Edit: Thanks SM! I don't plan on selling this though ;)

Problem with that method of color indication is that it also depends on the computer monitor colors, and most people don't have a 400$ screen calibrator. (It's worth it to make the colors match if you have more than one monitor)

Re: 60mW 561nm PGL-III-C Pre-Review

I didn't even consider that...

Bad news: my friend's camera failed. I'm gonna go to a photography studio probably Tuesday.

It's amazing how if you scale up (520nm, 532nm, 561nm, 589nm) how orange 589nm eventually looks.

Re: 60mW 561nm PGL-III-C Pre-Review

Camera 1: RAW format not supported
Camera 2: Color improvement, however still looks like 532nm
Camera 3: RAW format not supported
Camera 4: Slightly yellower, more like a green HeNe now
Camera 5: Color improvement, however still looks like 532nm

I'll retry with some of my friends cameras if you want, I don't think I'll get anywhere though :(

Re: 60mW 561nm PGL-III-C Pre-Review

Lol I was sure you purchased the Sony F828 after our PM-conversations

Re: 60mW 561nm PGL-III-C Pre-Review

Eh with college coming up so soon I really shouldn't be spending money

Re: 60mW 561nm PGL-III-C Pre-Review

Try finding someone with a Galaxy S4 phone and see how it perceives color. Mine is much better than my actual camera. It might not work, but what if it does. It worked pretty damn well for my 473 pictures!

ah frack! I was going to save my 3000th post. :(
