That 07 produces the most lovely color of them all for a laser pointer, IMO. Nice.

Billy said this should be arriving here soon.
He did a magnificent job on this custom build for me.
I just don't know how he does it.
Gifted hands and mind I'd say.
Billy you're a legend in my books Sir.
The videos look amazing.
Once I receive this unit I'll do a huge thread showcasing all 10 or 11 of your artworks.
I've actually lost count of how many I have now.

To Billy... Cheers my friend.

Well, it arrived this afternoon.
All I can say is WOW !!!
This thing is beautiful.
The look, the feel, the weight, everything about it is perfect.
Then, you turn it on and the push button glows beautifully blue but
nothing happens....

Hahaha, until you turn up the POWER and bam!!!
All the way through up to a beautiful blue hue that, I'm sure, is above 470nm.
Some photos to come for you tomorrow.
What can I say?
Billy you're a legend.

I'd rep you if I could. I love adjustable builds. Is it stable at 5A or does it drop power quickly like my pushed NDB7675?

hak, the N465 cannot be pushed hard for higher wavelength like the NUBM07 or the NDB7675. AFAIK those are the only diodes that have a huge shift and survive the current.

@ Atomicrox, I know your question was directed at Billy, so I'll let him answer that.
He did tell me not to run it at full power for long obviously so I just adjust it and watch the WL shift.
It's awesome watching the colour change like that.
If I get a chance I'll get my Laserbee LPM and see if it's stable at full power.

@ Bob & ArcticDude, hehehe yeah I know and I feel bad but I will, I promise.
I'm not trying to make excuses but while I'm recovering, we're also having renovations done just before Christmas so you can imagine how busy it is here.
Also I don't have access to my regular computer all the time, just my iPad so it gets a bit tricky.
Beam shots coming soon.

:D
