$4.35 405nm eBay pen SUPER OVERSPECT Must see!!

I've never had a 405nm but soon enough I will.
Can you see the beam of a 50mW+ 405? Or do you need heavy fog/smoke?

Only in pitch dark you can see the beam. With some fog the visibility is much better.

It wouldn't be very weird if it was like his son or something...

Also, are you talking about the 1mW ones from the same seller?

You put in your children as profil, when they are younger, or as a family picture.

As at LPF the age is importan sometimes, especially in the BST section, it would be strange to put a greenhorn (no offence here Kartracer :) ) as avatar pic.

Also, don´t think there are a lot of dads around putting a picture of their son with a weapon as profile pic.

On the other hand I don´t no many Americans :)

Yes, I´m talkin about the 1mW from our ebay-guy / girl here.

I do not believe in age restrictions. Im 17 but I am probably more mature than a lot of adults.

My 405nm penlaser came in. I measure 45mW on my LPM. I had expected much more but is it 900% more than the ticket says. :)
Maybe the magic batch has run out of supply. It is a nice gift for friends.

***edit*** I ordered two more, green and voilet. These pens are addictive. :D

is there anything different with the pointers that say newest in the discription? i just ordered a newest green and the 405 linked in the OP...is the beam of the green viewable at night? i only have a super high power (2.7w 445)laser now so it will be alot more fun with something not so dangerous...i hope i get some good ones:beer:

There is no difference. Just get the cheapest 5mW one you can get.

The beam of the 30 is pretty visible. If you get one of these cheapies, the beam vill be visible.

Just received one of my 405s I don't have an Lpm but from what I assume it is somewhere around 40mW nice laser for $4

Bought a few of these a couple years ago. Nice for a cheap price.
Some had a standard screw in lens (aixiz style), some didn't.
great deal for the price, I ordered a couple more on Monday

Hey guys. I'm new here and this is my first post. Still waiting for my 100mw 532nm Pointer to arrive from Lazerer, but in the meantime this 405nm shipped.

Unfortunately, I'm not sure if it's DoA or if I'm just using the wrong batteries. This is my first real laser pointer besides my small red one. Do I use typical AAA batteries in this? They fit in the host just fine, or do I need a different battery to use it?

Thanks.

Yeah standard AAA's. Keep in mind that they're case positive so positive goes towards the tailcap and negative goes towards the Diode
