May God be with the poor sucker who will have to allign dichros for this.

EDIT, We won't mind if pictures are bigger resolution than my 6 year old cellphone display!

Thanks, and say a prayer for ARGLaser.

I already did:

That's about as evangelistical and christian as I get. It's my second most favorite faith-related saying.

Right after "Holy shit".

Hahaha fair enough. This is definitely going to be a pain to get all aligned, but sure will be amazing once that's done.

Well the body is simply a 2d maglite, so it can be replaced with a silver one instead, or blue, or whatever color tickles your fancy. ;) This one is simply a proof of concept being sent to ARGLaser for testing and review, it has a few flaws, but should be functional. Those flaws certainly won't be in the batch that I plan on making following review. I will most like make a batch of 10 of these which will probably take at least a month, then the 10 will be for sale. It'll most likely be a bit of a limited deal for now.

Wow this looks amazing, can't wait to get it :) I really like the streamline design.

Looks like it should all be good! I like that the front is open, that will make alignment easier. Once I get it I will do a full review.

200$ is quite a bit expensive

It's a tiny bit on the high end, but I think it's a fair price. For a host like this it requires milling, plus a maglite body. There's also a lot of thought and design that has to go into it all, and more aluminium than a usual single diode host.

It would take a while of machining to make, it's not something that could be done quickly.

The parts to go in this are not cheap either, 200$ is nothing after buying 300$ of diodes, and 200$ of optics. If you're looking to save money stick to single diode lasers. Making multi-diode lasers does not come cheap.

Looks awesome. Somebody NEEDS to pack 3 of the 6W diodes in this. A realistic 15W handheld laser would be killer....on your batteries and wallet lol. Still, would be awesome. And the simple fact that it is possible means someone must do it.
