Like T_J said.... you need to do some research and reading on the
Forum to get the skinny on these LDs and what IS available...

We were all noobs once, although, you should have enough common sense to not quote whole tutorials, especially if they are by DTR... That guys a picture freak :p

It is a high efficiency 445nm A140 diode.:beer:

Nice. How many custom builds have you done before embarking on a project like this? I'm good on a lathe and basic electronics but have neve thought of building a laser almost from scratch...Cant wait til I have the confidence to attempt one. Besides from machining time and the flashlight host you used, how much did this build set you back?
