260W IR Laser pump handheld?

Today he made a small adapter for this lens. Now it fits tightly into the other adapter. The focus can be adjusted. I removed his first expansion lens, because I glued the one from the other lens and I don't want to remove it. The two outer lenses are his. They are glued. It works quite well, although only with 120W. With my other 260 and 500, it will have very high power on the same schedule, and even higher.

I followed your entire build of this 260W IR laser, I don't understand anything about how you made it, but the final result is fantastic, can you also point and hold the laser beam fixed in one spot for 3 minutes straight? or can it get damaged? mine is a layman's question

The 260W one is not ready yet. I'm waiting for a few more small parts for it. When it's ready, I'll let you know how it handles the cooling. The 120W one heats up fast and the temperature drops very slowly because the fan is weak. I can put a powerful one, but it will have to stick out because the space is small. If I put the ones I have on the Delta at 1.6A, the cooling will be much better. If you're looking for durability, you'll need a large radiator with a powerful fan or water cooling.

Got it, as for the radiator, or fan, you can take a look at the official Noctua website
They are the best fans in the west, there are different sizes and formats, there are also heat sinks like a large slice of beef quarter

i just bought one of those high rpm blower fans and made a molicel powered high poewr fan, i finishde my 380w handheld laser too as i broke my 280w pump source. @Borislav@87 i driled too deep and knocked a lens

Can you take pictures of the damage and your project in general? In general, it is good to have information about these infrared lasers, how and what is done. I received all the parts for my 260W. It will be ready soon. After it, I will start assembling the 500W. However, I will do it in a larger box in order to be able to cool well and have a sufficiently powerful battery

In the evening I put the BMS on the battery and assembled the laser. Everything worked normally. I also put the lenses on and they fit perfectly in the center of the beam. I played around a lot and the battery fell out. It turned out that the BMS was somehow defective and could not charge the battery. I tried everything. Today I put a new one on and everything is ok. I have not put the battery in the laser yet because I did not have time. I will one of these days. The difference with the 120 watt one is quite big. It is clearly much more powerful and ignites wood immediately from a great distance.
