while I got your attention tell me about the red from the GGW led how hot is it. I'm going to show my I.Q. now, how do you guys find those threads like info about that so fast I'm realy strugling as I know crap about forums.

yes I bought a GGW from you, remember I said it looked like it had been bounced off a wall ! well the IR diode was the one with the bent leads and I haven't checked the red from that sled yet (been extra busy) and I just got the BR diode from the GGW mounted it a heatsink I made and it's running at 175Ma only has less than an hour on yet.
so I live in Blachly, Oregon. 97412.

receved the 6X sled sure was beat up :banghead: is that why they can't be used in a player? one of the LD's had all three leads bent over. kinda looks like someone's been throwing this one against a wall. well hope the good part works
