I had my camera, and chronicled the developments as much as possible before the crowds started running or it started to feel dangerous. I left semi early. I was probably the only person in the crowd still wearing a suit

It was a shame that this happened. I was amongst the 99% of people there who were peaceful. It really was just a few bad actors.

It was hopping, but no major incidents, thankfully. Last time Boston won a big championship a girl died when a rubber bullet from the riot police went through her eye, and then into her brain. Since then they keep it under control. I could hear people yelling and screaming from the neighbors houses.
