Is there any HANDHELD LASER thats a 2W? (405nm-473nm)

Any 2W handheld laser thats SOMEHOW available for me to buy thats in the wavelengths of 405nm-473nm?

Does 405nm burn better than higher wavelengths? or does wavelengths not matter how a laser burns things, just the output power?

Is this even legal?

Cost?

any pros or cons?

Forget 2W you can go up to 1,2 watt 445nm , forget 473nm and no it's not legal keep that in mind ( burning i dunno much about in wavelengths ) i guess they all burn kinda good above 500 mW cheers

That labby fits in the palm of my hand.. Its a matter of finding a
suitable host for a handheld.

Why forget about 473nm? I still think its a sick old color. So 2W is illegal? I assume 1W-1.5W is also, is this illegal to use to public? Thats why?... SO, theres no possible way to get Jayrob or Laserbee or Yobresal, people like that, to make me a 2W 405-473nm masterpiece, and pay them for it???

LOL, btw, if i buy a 1W+ laser and point it at my skin like hand, will it really hurt? Can it mess with cells and junk like that and cause weird junk to happen??? JW... rofl..

BTW, anyone know which wavelength burns the best??? 2nd best?

I hate to be the guy to say this, but you have a lot of learning to do before messing around with lasers that are powerful as you're looking for. Blue lasers can cause weird junk like cancer to happen if you expose it to your skin too long. I'll let the vets point you in the right direction but please remember safety goggles first and that high powered portable lasers are not toys nor recommended for 'public use'

The actual area needed in that labby for 2 LD's is 40mm L x 31mm W.
Thats with the mirrors and the two collimated output beams.
Actual length of it is 75mm, leaving tons of room for additional optics (done intentionally)

I would agree on your second point, that 2 lasers pointed into
1 spot is 'easier', but hardly comes with any bragging rights :na:


That labby was 1 of 3 prototypes. I left extra room to add improvement
after initial testing.

If I wanted to shrink a 2LD module further, I can do the same layout
in a 25mm wide x 30mm long enclosed mount

Thats about the same dimensions of 2 aixiz modules layed in a + shape cubed.
In my world its go small or try again

For visual reference, in my avatar, the fan cooling its driver is 1.5x1.5in (39mmx39mm)
Its how you mount your mirrors that make all the difference in space needed. :shhh:

LOL i don't think if you for any reason come in contact with the police and they will search you , that thay will say * oh nice laser where did you get it? * ehmm no your so busted with a high power pointer... it's not ment to use in public No way mister ! ! !
