I want to put a smoke bomb into a glass soda bottle and fully seal the top with JB-weld and light it with a laser *whistles* Stupid ideas can be fun.

No one said it was a good idea... (Not my video) He used duct tape as a cap :p

Careful dude, I ruined a diode using a plastic lens at that current. It melts the black and clear plastic which deposits a nasty film on the diode window. Damn neR impossible to salvGe the now fuzzy spot.

I'm now using the stock glass casio lens... :barf:how do I know if I ruined my diode? Lol, for all I know it could be broken already.

Edit: look what I just got from aixiz!

Please feel free to post this information on any of the forums.

We will have 1500 lenses ready by mid this week. The lens coating has been redone somewhat to allow even better light passage at the 445nm range. I apologize for the delay but it will be worth it.

Chuck

Awesome! thanks, aixiz!

Sweet!, You will be able to tell because the spot will be totally fuzzy and when unfocused the spot will appear to have lines and spot going through it like a TV channel that isn't coming in clearly.
