I'm black; take a wild guess  lol :p

I'm all like rap/R&B/pop and such. Mostly old school. This new mainstream is 97.43% fail with such "hits" as "LOLOLOLOL IM SO GANGSTA CHEVY WIT DA BUTTAFLY DOORZ LOOL" :p I don't really listen to "gangsta" rap unless of course the mood strikes :p Lyrics with meaning or GTFO

Then again I am not limited to any genre. I like select stuff from ALL genres. Big fan of Sinatra :D love oldies. Johnny Cash. blah blah blah :D

At the moment, Trance, Rock, Alternative, Classical, and some pop songs not the crappy stuff though.

Progressive rock (Genesis, Peter Gabriel, Marillion, ecc.)
Metal (Classic -Iron Maiden, Metallica, ecc. -and Fantasy - Rhapsody, Nightwish, Epica, ecc.)
Classical ;)

All genres got it's genious sides and crappy sides.. I mostly listen to chill music outside of the mainstream..

Some of my favourite bands are: Pink Floyd, Shpongle, Ratatat, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, etc.

I could rattle off genres, but more generally, I like music in a minor key.

Not really sure what categories/genres some of these would fall under, but here are a few of favorite songs.

Nawal al Zoghbi - Maloom

n.A.T.o. - Chor Javon

Unknown - Tehran My Love

Nida Jan - Shal Awoordem

Asala Nasri - Al Qiblah Al Awla

Unknown - Saraya Al-Quds

I named one of my daughters Kayleigh ;) she is 16 now.

Sadly by the time I got to meet the blokes in Marillion it was 1990 and Fish had already left the band.

It was the Seasons End tour, saw them in a small pub, had a fab time.

This is wonderful :) aniway Kayleigh is a kind and sweet name! The song was a piece of the soundtrack of my marriage.

Wow... I meet Fish in Rome in 1991 and we had a nice chat over a beer after his concert
