For both the 473nm and 589nm pointers, we've agreed to let the members decide in which host the module should be put in. That is, you will have to vote for either a Spyder II or Spyder III host (it must be the same for all minimum 10 units). In consequence, please let me know which one you'd rather get! If we don't get organized about this I will just ask him to put the modules in Spyder III hosts.

In addition, we're starting off with low powered pointers since getting 10 buyers for high powered units is not quite easy; but in case you're wondering: Yes, if you can get 10 people for a high powered green laser (i.e. 400mW) or for a high powered 473nm/589nm laser (i.e. 50mW), Steve said they'll do it gladly as well.

Great group buy, have some questions tho

Do all the orders include laser shades or just the evolutions?

Will the 473 ad 589 handhelds come with battery/charger?

Are the spyder III hosts tec cooled?

Thanks

Only the Evo Pro's, there's virtually no need for lasershades for a 5mW pointer.

No laser will come with battery/charger.

They will not be TEC cooled.

What about the 80mW 589's? They were only $945 from CNI, if we could get them down to $900-800 from WL, that would be 8 times the power for like 1.7 times the $ compared to the 10mW.

Wow! Great prices!
I'm gonna have to think about this one. The 10mW is tempting.

I might just wait for an opportunity for >50mW blue.
My vote would be for the Spyder II since it's a bit smaller and is more discreet than the SpIII.

I'll have to see if others show interest, because I really want a high power blue!

Like Niko said, if there is enough interest in an item, WL will have no problem providing it. But there must be a minimum order of 10 of the same unit.

Exactly, RA, thanks for answering :)

If you can gather 10 members for a 50mW blue they will do it as well.

Put me down for a 5mw 473nm in a Spider III host.

The host and power is flexible depending on the demand of others, so I'll see what the demand is for.

Ok, don't worry. We're only at the "Request" phase, so you have a lot of time to change your mind ;)

OMG YES thank you so much for getting this Group Buy up Niko!!!!
So the modules for the 473nm and 589nm and both from CNI?
I'll probably get a 5mW 473nm in the Spyder III host.
Hope they are overspec like the CNI GBs!!

Hey friends, I should not vote, (although if by some great lucky chance a K$ falls into my lap, I surely would), but I like the Spyder III and 589 nm best! Neither is going to fit into regular size pockets guys!, & I wish I could get a way high output Spyder III 589 nm yellow! It would be a real dream unit IMHO but it's a lot to ask even of Santa! -Glenn

Sure thing, I'll add you for one 5mW 473nm :)

Hopefully they're as good as the ones from Glenn's GB, which have been known for FREAKING AWESOME power outputs.

Hey friends, I should not vote, (although if by some great lucky chance a K$ falls into my lap, I surely would), but I think it is no small thing that the Spyder III is a FDA compliant laser and the Spyder II simply is not. Neither is going to fit into regular size pockets guys!, & I wish I could get a way high output Spyder III 589 nm yellow! It would be a real dream unit IMHO! -Glenn

Really? The Spyder II pro has the LED indicator and "minilock" like the Spyder III.
Or are we talking about the Spyder II (not pro)?

hello,

I would be interessted for a 589nm $525.0, host Spyder II. If the host would be bigger or with key I will not be interessted anymore.

thank you niko

Thanks for the quick answers.

Id want a 10mw 473nm in a Spyder II Host
Depending on my Christmas hall :)

Can you ask them how much extra it would be for them to include battery/charger
