This is a discussion about his character. How can it sound anything but "personal"?

This is not a discussion about which driver heats up more. It is a discussion about whether we will allow a person that has acted the way he has (and continues to act) to do business in this forum.

People dislike confrontation. However, sometimes it is needed to deal with an unplesant situation.

I ask you again, do you have a better way to deal with situations like this in a self moderated forum? PM's and thread bashing have not worked. Appeals to the admin have not worked. Give me an alternative before you vote to perpetuate a situation that has already become unberable.

I know there has been alot of previous thread about it. I dont disagree with the poll as such. I just think people should keep the personal stuff out of the discussion as I cant see any good comming out of posting some of that material here.

You seam resonable and Im not posting to suggest I can do better than this solution. I just wish someone could moderate out the more aggressive posts so that one can read through it and not think of it as a flamethread. But as I can see you are not a moderator and because of that I cant blame you for what other people post. I have viewed your posts in other threads about this and you never stuck me as the aggressor.

Why do I care about the form of this discussion? Because I like being here and I feel the climate is taking a turn for the worse every time as see a unnessesary personal attack. Most of the other threads a relaviely free from them but this thread is drawing alot of bad blood (justified or not).

I can be a truly bad person sometimes but I really hope this is not a place where I have to start throwing mud at other people.

The poll is about banning him. I voted "no" because quite a few people arguing for it are acting like they are doing it out of personal hatred. View my vote as a protest against that kind of behavour.

if he was a great guy, then there wouldn't be this many people hating him.

if you think about it, what causes "personal hatred" for a person, well it can be caused be getting scammed/lied to/cheated/wronged by that person, over, and over.

I would like to say this. I don't want to get ripped off. Buying from a big online retailer, gives you a cretin amount of security.
But when your dealing with a individual you have far less to protect you.
Thats why many of you are trying to remove this person from the forum .

If he has practiced unfair and dishonest transactions in the past. What is to say he wont again.

If he stays and the ones who are trying to remove him, give uo. Who will protect all the newcomers who come after me?:cryyy:

Exactly. We're not just bullies picking on a defenseless nerd here. Tyler has actually done things wrong. Ssargon, you don't seem to get that, do you?

Way back when Tyler posted about "the return trick" I realized that he was dishonest and someone that I would never do business with. Since then I have watched him attack anyone whom he feels is against him, wielding negative reps like a stepfather's belt.

From what I have seen he is a scammer and a bully... definitely not someone that should be selling on LPF.

Heres what you do DUMBASS, you read the information that the members, including myself, took time to gather everything so that lazy bums like you can have the luxury of having it all in front of you. Then you base a vote on what you read and what is right for the forum.

If you can't do that then do not vote because you cause nothing but problems and an accurate poll.

Quite frankly you shouldn't be in this thread, nor should you have voted. You are disregarding the issue at hand, and voted for a different issue.
