Banning Jake21/Jake22

I have not seen a single post from a person he actually still owes anything to.. I would like to see that before I decide.

I agree with Drew, he screwed up and ran away for a while hoping the problems would go away. Just ban him ebfore he gains too much momentum.
I know he screwed me over when i first joined the forum, he lied about the diodes he sold me, when i found out and tried to sell them to get some of my money back to buy the correct diode, he was kind enough to offer me about half of what he charged me for them.

i say at the very least, he be restricted from selling items on the forum.....but there is no way to restrict that because of pm's...just ban him.

Niko.. I would have thought somebody like you would have the sense to look at timestamps.. those requests are ancient and he might have resolved the issue with each of those people. Anyway, I have PM'ed them all and they will probably see this thread too so let's wait and see.
He has just posted in another thread that anyone who he has scammed who has not been refunded should just PM him.
To me it currently seems like banning him would be a terrible idea.

Jake still owes me $40 for a heatsink and host I bought from him a while ago. The button broke, so I sent it back to him to be repaired, as well as the module. The module was sent back to me eventually, but the host and heatsink were not.

He hasn't "done his time" and should be let back now. He had temporary bans in which he could "do his time" and come back a more learned forum member. However, he came back and got worse. That led to a permaban. He had temp bans and didn't learn. Permaban means we are done with trying to let him grow.

I agree mostly Dave, although I think we should at least wait a bit until all the people I PM'ed (and perhaps some more) have spoken to Jake. If some of them can get a refund or their things back at least the damage will be minimized..

Too much drama with Jake21..22..23..
He comes back after a nice little break and thinks all is ok. A thread like this is what it takes to get his attention to pay back people he admits he scammed?:wtf: There were plenty of members and neg reps to warn people about Jake (if they used the search button or read his reputation posts), and yet they did business with him anyway..probably because of his cheap prices.

And yes, I too had issues with him. I was polite the entire time and tried to encourage him to make things right because I would give him another chance and do further business with him. He did eventually attempt to make it right(something was better than nothing), but in the end I sucked it up and considered it a lesson learned.

Post his email address and let those people get ahold of him that way, not through LPF. If he hasn't made good with those people, odds are he isn't planning on it, especially if he thinks he is gonna get banned again.
Just be done with him, period. Let him mature somewhere else.

Yeah I saw that... I have this bad tendency to try and look at the "bright"
side before I crucify someone...
I'll alway give someone the benefit of the doubt before I cut them off
at the knees... but once it's done... it's done..

Like Jaseth pointed out... if we can get some of the affected members
their investment back then it would be better than none of the members
getting anything back...

I would like to hear from Jake (on this Thread) if he is willing to make all
the issues right...

@coldStl.... yes the majority of people are morons when it comes to buying
stuff.. they will always go for the lowest price...
(I'm speaking in general terms here... not pointing at any LPF Members)
