Swyvel, I have already answered this question in our PMs...

If you read the whole thing, it covers everything you could ever want to know.

Beware of those or any other cheap laser goggles/glasses----those a low cost throw away quality junk as is most everything on that site-- low end, low quality lowest cost mass produced toy quality and cost items.
Those laser goggles cost $0.50 to $1 in China--they are great if the value of your eyes to you is $8--they are for sale on eBay for $1.69/pair w. shipping from China , retail price so...

Do yourself a favor and get an "Eagle Pair" made by http://www.eaglelaser.cn/En/GoodsList/832/ -- they are lowest cost decent laser goggles/glasses available and offer real protection---really top quality professional laser laboratory grade laser goggles or glasses are hundreds of dollars.

See: https://www.survivallaserusa.com/Safety_Goggles/cat1667093_1527285.aspx

Google "Eagle Pair"They are available from many resellers.

While I generally agree with you, one must be carful not to call multi watt mass produced lasers toy anything. Some moron out there could easily think they are harmless, which they’re must certainly aren’t. Perhaps, low quality is sufficient to describe them or, if you want to make people feel happy about their purchase, entry level could be a better term. Just my two pennies.
To the op... I would not trust the google’s that came with my lasers to protect me from a candle, much less a laser.
Cheers.

Well I ordered a few lasers from that site to cheaply get a feel for different wavelengths before paying someone to build my own and eventually build one myself. After a month or so of extra pay checks and experimenting with these I'll probably hit up soemone here thinking lifetime17. Also I probably will send the laserpointerstore goggles back and order some real quality. I ended up getting 5. I'll probably end ordering 2 eagle pairs to cover the full range of wavelengths I'll have haha. Extras for friends and and family will have to come in a month or two haha. Also I imagine it's safe to admire the beams aimed at stars and empty space and it only poses danger when dots hitting a surface to reflect

Good luck sending anything back to them, others have tried and appear to have been ignored and no refund, maybe they eventually received a refund, I never saw.

I'm sure the lasers from this store will at least be more than enough to get a feel for preferred wavelength before investing more funds into a nice custom one at least. All I've ever mess with was red pet toy ones and had a stronger green one that was probably 10 or 20 mw

Shipping anything back to China is very expensive. It is also quite slow unless you pay DHL to send them back. I once sent an item back and it took months to get a verified tracking receipt of delivery. And it cost me 10s of dollars to do it.

Just so you know the blue lensed glasses that laserpointerstore sells for red lasers, will not work for 650nm to 650nm red.
They "might" do a little for 637nm red but not much..

At least the goggles were cheap but I would like that money back if possible. I'll just count it as a loss since I'm getting 4 cheap lasers to check which wavelengths I like best

I realized I did a dumb but there cheap and while I'll miss the money at least it wasnt too ridiculous. I'll find some eagle pair. The red laser I got 200 mw. Is looking at the dot on the ground gonna damage my eyes without protection like the 1 watts?

You will be alright looking at the dot, even with a 1W as long as there's no chance at a reflection..
It's good you started with the 3 kit 303's. They wont be burners though.. Focused tight you might light a match and pop a balloon but thats it.
Still though they are good learning laser's and fun but still dangerous..

Yeah I used PayPal credit too. For some reason I had to email them to send me the invoice. I did the upgraded shipping. Hopefully it wont be snail mail with that

Hi, I wish you all the best in your quest with Laserpointerstore. Hope you get a fair shake with your purchase . As for safety glasses Survival laser has the best glasses for the money and they work to, Not some Chinese knock offs , believe me they dont really care about your safety when it comes to glasses their only interest in a sale.

^^^Very good point.

Looks like Swyvel decided to go against reading the answers to all of this himself in PMs and made another thread instead. 😑
PS- It's common courtesy to at least reply to a last PM.

Ok, now I understand why veterans have such a strong dislike of newbies 🙄
