Regardless, I will be getting some more of these plus a 565nm one too. It would be nice if someone steps up to run a group buy, but it will have to be a veteran and it will also add to the shipping costs. I don't want to do it as the last two I did were far too much work and since I had no control over shipping, some people were less than satisfied with the speed items went out to members here.

I strongly urge getting 565. You think it’s green until you see it in a mix. Very close to Kr yellow. Nice color. 575 looks yellow by itself but in a mix is orange. Wonder if they can tweak it to 568nm? Would be perfect.

My 502nm laser looks yellow/green next to my 493nm one. Looks just like a 532nm DPSS laser next to a 520nm one.

I think it's all about what you compare it with. If I look at my 490nm after looking at 532nm or 520nm it looks blue, but if I compare it with 450nm it looks green.

afaik I was an early buyer--but wrong PP addy caused a delay- refund- re send and I guess that bumps me back to 'the end' of the line.. please do share emails-info etc- you would want that if you were me.
He has replied but not lately.
back when the 532 pens started to become a big deal- I was doing a monthly Argon ML and a SL exercise and a 532 pen was turned on & that looked perfectly green as usual-then it changed a LOT to a yellow in the presence of the argons..-- I know- I was in our eyes-- a camera prolly would not show it as pronounced as it was to all of us here.. will try that again- way past time to exercise.. & new pics are in order anyhoo..

Yeah, you don't want a bunch of argons on in 100 degree weather. You can literally heat a room with one in the winter.

I use to heat my basement with a little ILT 100mw unit whe nit was -10F outside. Thinking out it now.....

If you add a strainer to the fan top you might be able to roast coffee or make popcorn......hummmop:

I got my last email from B. Freeman a week ago today. I haven't heard anything more, but I suspect the one week deadline was not reached and we will have some more waiting to do. I stopped trying to email him often as I'm sure all he can say is they don't have the 100 to 200 units yet. I will email him if I hear any credible news about news yellows for sale.

No doubt you've noticed many threads have been deleted recently, which would explain it.

I sent Freeman an email last weekend, since I hadn't heard back from him in weeks, and on Sunday, he replied stating they may have some within the week.

"I may have a confirmation in next 2 days. We got an update from our partner that there would be some available crystals to be shipped to our workplace within this week.
So I will let you know timely once the available laser units coming out."

Hopefully this will happen! :yh:
